So, aside from having to be the school's new therapist, she also had to teach. Not that she really minded all that much, though she didn't really see what good was going to come from her being these kids' teacher. Oh, she wasn't saying she was stupid or anything, though some days it might have felt that way. But no, it was just because she wasn't exactly sure what normal high school student would be keenly interested in psychology.
Okay, so maybe she had been. But again, she didn't know what normal student would be. But, whatever the case, here she was. Her tongue gliding across her lips as she rummaged through her bag, currently leaning up against her desk. She had dropped her cell phone into her backpack earlier, and now she needed to find it so that she could put it on silent. Last thing she needed to happen was to have that damn thing go off in the middle of class.
Today, she had opted for a little bit more normal attire, bypassing her kitty ears and instead wearing her long hair up in a ponytail at the back of her head, a few strands pulled free to hang about her face and a pink and black feather dangling down the side of her neck.
As for her outfit. A pink and black, zebra striped halter top that laced up the back much like a corset.....A black skirt which hugged tightly to her hips and stopped just above her knees.....On her feet, a pair of black high heeled boots that came up to her knees and were laced up with hot pink laces. Accessories today, well those included a set of silver bangle bracelets on her left wrist, a wrap around leather watch on her right and a necklace that hugged tightly to her slender neck, much like a choker of some sort.
Finally, as her fingers fell upon her phone, she would give a little sigh and pull it out of her bag, flipping the switch on the side to set it to vibrate and then carelessly tossing it down into the bag again to be lost once more. The bag then dropped down onto the floor and pushed under her desk by the toe of her right foot.
There. Now everything was in order and class could begin as it was scheduled to. No look given to the roster just yet, because honestly she had forgotten about that part....though it would come to her....eventually.
Nope...for now she would just rest her ass up against her desk, slide one leg out, cross it with the other and grip the edge of the desk with both hands to keep herself from falling.....A very real possibility given she was in heels and yeah...those didn't always work out for her so well. But yeah, they were soooo sexy.
OOC: Class is up....One round of posting for each teacher post, etc etc etc.....Participation determines exp gain....So yeah, if you want all +8 EXP then you need to be creative. And remember!! No copy and pasting!
Roster
1) Mekiel Echigo 2) Lilith 3) Kazumi Badoer 4) Patrick O'Connor 5) Cael Seran 6) Natalie Rumor 7) 8)

Psychology.
Why was I here.
._.
I stepped into the class, and there were two things I noticed right off the bat: the lack of other students, and that air of... psychology. Yuck. I grimaced, my attention quickly turning to the teacher and turning that grimace into a grin. At least the teacher was a sight for sore eyes.
Me gusta.
"How's it goin', ma'm?"
I headed to one of the center desks and took my seat, immediately resting my elbow on the desk and my head in my palm. I was gonna chill for a bit, and hopefully other people would show up.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, I was wearing a white muscle tee and black gym shorts, and some brown sandals. Classy. ;]

(OOC: I have permission to be here, I swear!)
Natalie made her way into the Psych class, her head still throbbing from the rager she had been at the night before. Her sunglasses covered her red, glazed over brown eyes as she looked around the room. The teacher was female, something that made her a little more comfortable, and their was only one other student in the room. 'Yes please!' she thought as she eye fucked him from the other side of the room.
She would almost skip over to the desk to the right of him, pushing it next to his and taking a seat. She couldn't get over the muscles, and the fact that he looked like a young man more than a fellow student. "Couples therapy? How cute! I've got my partner!" She would cling to his arm, feeling his muscles as she cooed softly to herself with a smile. "Love the outfit, by the way."
Natalie herself was wearing a baggy gray tank top with a white pushup bra, a black mini skirt and a pair of pink sleeping slippers. She was way to hung over, an still a little buzzed, too put on normal shoes. "I'm Natalie, but you can call me whatever you want, Muscles." After introducing herself to the young man she was now basically attached to, she'd look over at the teacher with a grin. "So, are you gonna pick at our brains or let us pick at yours?"

Cael wasn't usually the type to show up to class early, or even on time for that matter but he made an exception for today. It wasn't as though he wanted something out of this teacher no certainly not. But he wanted "to be a contributing member of society." He laughed at the ideal walking into class with his brows furrowed letting his gaze follow the wall not necessarily down in dismay but rather considerable effort made to ignore her.
Today yet another game in the works, to make at play. His eyes would situate upwards to the other two students in the room, one he'd met before and another... very new student. Cael's grimace turned upwards flipping his own shades of his head and dangling them in the soft pouch of his shirt advertantly dipping his v-neck a bit lower.
"Natalie, born of Christmas, I'm feeling jolly."
A twinkle in his eyes looking from her over to Mekiel. He didn't hate the guy, simply loathed anything in his way. And in this instance it was him. Muscles as it were, was going to have to compete with the best, and in Cael's "humble" opinion. That was him.
A casually slant letting his body droop around the edge of the wall carrying him past them and to the teacher giving her a very deliberate tap on the thigh before padding a pile of papers on the table. They were blank but it was all about appearance, he was "troubled" in this game and they had to believe it.
"My papers, for detention."
A cocky grin before moving past Natalie and Mekiel stopping only to look her up and down without hindrance to the motion finding himself only joining the adjacent row to which they were in not letting his eyes shift postions.
"Oh please do go on.." Taunting in his words wanting to make their "close time" very uncomfortable.

Yeah, of all the classes that she could have signed up for, this was the one she chose. Perhaps because she had been sent to so many psychologists in her day, or perhaps it was simply the need to understand the things that plagued not only her, but her Mother and both of her brothers. She wanted to help them, help herself, and if some stupid class in high school was going to achieve that, well then all the better.
A little sigh as she tugged the hood of her jacket up over her head and pulled her backpack into position on her shoulders. Her tongue darting forward over her lips as she stopped at the doorway to the class room and lifted her head so that she could look inside. Well, so far so good, the place was relatively empty save for a few students and well...the teacher? She assumed. A slight raise of her brow indicating that she wasn't entirely sure what to think about the woman's attire, but not about to comment on it.
Nope. She was going to keep to herself, as much as possible. Unless of course she had reason to bug somebody. Which wasn't too likely, aside from a few comments here and there. Stepping inward, she would give a little smile from under the hood of her jacket to the woman at the front of the class, passing by as Cael patted the woman on the thigh and just shaking her head with a little grin curling on her lips, allowing herself to lean in as she passed him, whispering so that only he could hear. "Aiming high I see...As always."
She found it rather amusing, these little games he played...even if she herself was not really one to play such things. No, she was very content with having a stable, monogamous relationship and no desire what so ever to go sleeping around with other guys. But hey....to each his own she supposed. Moving to take a seat toward the center of the class, she sat back and away from everyone else....Her hand coming up and pushing the hood of her jacket off, seeing as how she was in class and all, and shivering slightly as the light hit her.
Fuck she hated that. A mental groan given as she slouched down in her seat and waited for class to begin. Noting now that the two boys, Mekiel and Cael, seemed to be focused on the new girl, causing her to roll her eyes slightly. "I swear cousin...your appetite is insatiable." Hands coming to rest atop her desk as she chuckled just a bit and then lowered those deep blue eyes downward toward her hands, allowing her fingers to lightly toy with one another.

Another day, another class he had to attend. As unfortunate as it was Patrick would much rather go to class then to jail so he figured he might as well try to be on time. He didn't know who was in this class, but then again, he didn't really care either. He highly doubted there there was anyone he cared to give his attention anyway. In all truth there was really only one person in this school that Patrick cared anything for at all, and he highly doubted they'd be in the same class.
Now why this class? Psychology? Simple, turns out one of the requirements for this school was that he needed a social science to graduate. So it was either this or philosophy, and he hated the idiotic responses that those classes always got. So psych it was, and hell, he figured, maybe he'd learn something about himself. Not that he was going to go around posting flyers that he had any sort of mental illness. But still, the human mind was fascinating, and he was sure that there was plenty to learn, and plenty to apply. Not that the teach should be expecting any kind of special effort from him.
Patrick sighed, taking a long drink of whiskey before hiding the bottle away in his pocket and walking into class, bored look already crossing his face. Once again he walked into class somewhat prepared, with a pen and notebook in hand, bored look cast on the eccentric teacher. He slowly made his way to the aisle before turning to actually see who was in the class, having already had decided that there wasn't really going to be anyone in here that he knew or wanted to know.
But as he scanned, bored look on his face as he already started towards the back, his eyes would brighten up as he saw Kazumi sitting there fiddling with her fingers. Bored look dropped his pace would pick up instantly, not anything faster then a walk, but he wouldn't be bumbling around at a funeral pace anymore at least.
Taking a seat next to her Patrick would grin, glad she had chosen here to sit. It was Patrick's preferred location as well, in the back of class. Not because no one could see you so much as you could see everyone else. And well yeah, no one could sneak up on you either, or watch you without your notice. As Patrick settled in he would say warmly and quiet enough so only she would hear, "Good seat choice love."

And one by one they began to filter in. First came a huge mammoth sized blonde boy. Big enough to make Jacelyn's brow arch slightly as she gave her best little smile and nod in his direction. Though she did grimace slightly at the word "ma'am" seeing as how that always made her feel like she was old, and well.....she wasn't. "It goes...Though please, don't call me Ma'am...Ms. Winters or Jacelyn will be fine." A polite and honest little smile given as she nodded, only to soon be caught up in a whirl wind of flirty brunette as the small girl came trotting in and set her sights on big and scary.
What the hell was with this class? Was everyone going to either be a midget or a giant? Not that Jace had room to talk, but it wasn't every day that she ran across a girl shorter than herself, nor was it often she ran into a guy who was way too big for her to ever even consider being attractive. Just yeah....not too into the big, muscle bond jock types.
Every bit of will power she had being forced into play as the girl gave the blonde guy the nickname "Muscles"...If she had been out of high school longer than she had, well it might not have been so amusing, but in reality, it was just a little reminder of the days when she was the one behind the desk, listening to the teacher. Not to mention, it was just always so amusing to watch people interact with one another. "Well I would hope for a bit of both to be honest. I mean, its not all that much fun if I am the only one asking all the questions." Speaking of course in response to the girl's question.
Glancing at the blonde, she was trying to gauge his reaction to his new nickname, when another student made his way into the classroom, this one being one that she actually knew. Though she had to admit, that Cael's appearance before the bell rang did strike her as a bit odd. From what she could understand, from talking with other teachers, he was never on time...as if he made it a point to be late. So why the hell show up for her class on time?
As for his lack of attention being thrown her way....she honestly didn't even notice. Not because she didn't like the guy. To be quite honest, she found talking with him rather interesting, and she knew he was intelligent and an interesting person to be around. She just, yeah....didn't think enough to pay attention to what kind of attention he gave her.
Well, at least not until he finally did focus on her and come forward, that pat to her thigh getting a little roll of her eyes as she glanced over her shoulder toward the pile of papers that he had tossed there. She wasn't sure what game he was playing at, but she figured she might as well play along. "Ah, I see that you have finished your paper on the more taboo sex fetishes of the world. Tell me, which did you finally settle on? Foot fetishes or furries?"
Those blue eyes locking on his, a rather daring little grin given before she would grip the edges of her desk a bit more firmly and hoist herself up and onto it, scooting back just enough that she could curl her legs up Indian style in front of her, and her arms coming to rest upon her knees.
Next came two other students, one apparently a rather shy girl, given the way she tried to hide in a jacket that she clearly didn't need for weather related reasons, and who was apparently related to Cael. A small chuckle given as the girl so subtly called him out on his not so hidden tactics of trying to pick up anything with a nice set of tits.
Then another boy, this one not really standing out in her mind, though he did seem to hasten his steps just a tad when he spotted the shy girl....Presumably a boyfriend....Only confirmed by the way that he leaned in to speak to her softly.
Glancing at the roster, she would note that she was only one student short....a girl...or at least she was assuming so based upon the fact all males seemed accounted for and she would feel sorry for any boy named Lilith....Having guessed on the shy girl being Kazumi, since she looked so much like her boss, Mrs. Badoer.
But whatever the case, she would start class, not really worried about the one that was missing. She would deal with that later. "Alright, so as you can see on the board behind me, I have chosen to discuss both schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder today. Now, I am sure you all know a little something about each of these, but my first question to you is this....Why did I decide to discuss these two specific topics today, during the same class session?"
Simple and down to the point question, or so she thought. Curious to see who would guess right or who knew their psychology rather well. Just trying, in her own way, to get a feel for who was actually going to try in this class and who was going to make it their mission to bore her to death.

Letting out a little sigh, her eyes would once more glance toward her cousin and the girl that was currently being flirty with Mekiel, a little shake of her head given. She had never quite understood the whole....flirty....thing. Sure, she had kind of been really, really flirty that one night with Issac, but then, at the time, she had been listening to Matrim and been taking meds. She wasn't really herself.
Now...well now she would never even dream of flirting with another guy. She was far too content with....
Her thoughts cut short as a familiar figure walked past and took a seat at the desk next to her....a little smile curling on her lips as she reached up and pushed the hood back from her head. She actually didn't really feel the need to hide as much these days when Patrick was around, her features seeming to light up as she turned to look at him and gave a casual little shrug. "Well, I don't really like being near everyone else...Besides, seems like they are having enough fun with the new girl..."
A small chuckle before she would lean over in her seat toward him and lightly trace the scar along his face. She couldn't exactly be making out with him in class, even if they were in the back, and the LAST thing she, of all people, needed was the teacher saying something and drawing attention to her. So yeah, that was, at least in her mind, almost as good as giving him a kiss as a greeting. For her, the amount of affection and the personalization of doing that was the same as a peck on the lips, if not more so. Any girl could kiss him (if they had a death wish) but none would ever trace that mark the way that she had become accustomed to doing. "So glad you are here babe..." Whispering softly as she drew her hand back and would lay it atop her desk.
When the teacher spoke up, she would turn to look toward her, glancing around to see nobody else raising their hand and so sitting up straight and clearing her throat. She hadn't been really talkative in class for awhile, but she was trying her best to be normal again...Or well...normal Kazumi again...."Because of the fact that both diseases are so similar in symptoms and the manners in which they manifest that often psychiatrist misdiagnose one for the other?"
She wasn't entirely sure. But she was pretty sure that was right. She had studied a bit of psychology before, since it had always been a topic that greatly interested her. So hopefully she had not been too far off. Though right or wrong, she would instantly feel those nerves kicking up and her fingers starting to tremble. Slowly she would slink down into her chair, slouching just a bit while her hand would slowly reach out across the small distance and little fingers would wrap about Patrick's hand, holding it rather firmly for that sense of security that he always offered her.......just by being there.

Patrick's smile brightened when she pulled down her hood. He understood her insecurities and so whenever she did pull her hood down especially for him, he appreciated it greatly. Besides, he thought that she was beautiful and appreciated when he was able to look over and see that. As she spoke to him Patrick chuckled slightly, giving a look over to the new girl and the shenanigans going on, "Well, I can't blame ye, I'm more of the backrow student myself."
Another soft smile given when her finger lightly traced over his scar in a way that only she could replicate, his eye closing allowing her finger to complete its movement. Patrick appreciated the gesture, knowing full well that that was the best expression that she could give without drawing attention to them. Hell, the irishman loved that they had some sort of expression that was unique, powerful, and not as attention drawing and blatant as a kiss. Because like her, he wasn't one the draw attention to himself either. Returning her whisper, "Me too, I'm glad that yer in this class."
Then the teacher spoke up, asking the question about the two mental disorders and their similarities, drawing the question as to why she was grouping them together. Honestly, Patrick knew a little, but his knowledge on the subject was not extensive. After that awkward silence he turned his head to Kazumi as she spoke up. Giving her a little nod of assurance as spoke he listened to her carefully. She seemed to be making valid points but Patrick wondered. He had a lingering question as Kazumi say back, noting her tremble and her hand reaching out to grasp his, giving hers a slight squeeze of assurance.
After a moment his free hand would raise and he'd ask simply to clarify, "Isn't a little unfair to group schizophrenia with almost anything? Because doesn't schizophrenia have so many different forms that it's almost a blanket diagnosis and generally comes with more mental diseases as well?"
Because schizophrenia could have a number of different symptoms as far as Patrick could recall, ranging from seeing weird sparkles and shit like that all the way to figures to hearing noises that could be voices or less defined. And anything in between really, or combination of the groups. Least he was pretty sure about that...

Well seemed like three of her students were too busy playing the mating game to pay attention. Not that it was surprising, seeing as how that was typically what most high school students were into at this age. Rolling her eyes a bit she settled in atop her desk, glancing back at the two that spoke up. Apparently no need there to play the game seeing as how those two already seemed to have something going on.
When the girl spoke up she would smile slightly and give a nod. "That is right. They are very closely related and typically misdiagnosed for one another." Though then the boy would speak up once the girl seemed to lose whatever nerve she had going. His response getting a little grin from her as she would chuckle and give a slight nod of her head.
"Very good point. But, you have to question whether it is as you call it, a blanket diagnosis, or if it is simply the fact that it is such a strong disease that it encompasses so many others. Really, in truth, it is a disease that psychologists know so little about seeing as how it can present itself in so many ways. Hence why it is very hard to make an accurate diagnosis." She would give a nod, figuring there would be more time to go into that as the class went on.
Though she would quickly turn her attention back toward the little mating trio, clearing her throat softly. "So Cael." Interrupting and attempting to draw his attention away from some new "tail"...at least for now. "Can you tell me the age that most people exhibit the onset of schizophrenia? "
Her brow arching slightly as her blue eyes focused on him, hands resting under her chin as she ran her tongue slowly along her lips.

A knock at the door, followed by a clicking sound and the door opening could be heard, as a figure entered into the classroom, a book bag held under the figure's right arm. Casually glancing around the classroom, Ryu would wait until the teacher had finished asking her question, before walking over to her desk, and wordlessly held out a note that was in his left hand, for her to take, letting her know that he was a new student, and to excuse his tardiness, for he had been getting everything, including his schedule, in order, and signed by the Superintendent herself.
Though considering his father and he himself knew the Superintendent personally, as she was his father's pseudo little sister and his pseudo aunt, it wasn't too surprising. If she found the note satisfactory, he would then turn and head towards the two rows of desk/seat combination located in the middle, in front of the teacher's desk, and sat down in the second seat in the right row, seeing as everyone had chosen to group in the center, and would pull his notebook and pencil bag out before setting his bag down on the seat beside him.

No response, how... displeasing. Cael's upper lip furled at the edge turning into a dispised expression of irritation. He didn't like going ignored particularily when he was looking for a reaction of sorts. In fact having returned to his seat turning brows upwards instantly regrettable that he'd actually shown up for class today. Pft. It was a joke, he was already capable of running circles around these students.
"Schizo? Hrmmm I couldn't really care to tell you the truth."
He'd turn bored hues upwards glaring at her in a sense however finding his own answer to be the straight truth. They were just deranged people to be dealt with in the meantime until they could be removed from the situation. As for his displeasure for remaining in this class he didn't fear the side-effects to come with his insolence, he was after all nephew of the administrator.

A new enough school day, to be honest it was weird to be in school again even the pointlessness of being in school seemed to set in seeing as he'd missed an entire year of it crossing the state to find a new school safe from his current problems. Guy grinned courageously all the same and fastened two fingers to tip his fedora down over his brow to veil the nervous sort of sweat forming there.
The click of the door would respond to the boy entering slowly one foot before the other bringing himself into the fray to catch the little sprite between a student and the teacher. He was in all sense at home. So accustomned to the fray of students and teachers not getting along it was just like how on the streets the kids and the adults formed their own hierarchies. In fact it was all for onesself wherever one went.
"Presumably the time it sets in would be around the age of nineteen Mrs."
This time Guy would prop his hat back upwards before peeling it off and down to his side giving a little courteous gesture of salutation to both her and the student he hoped not to have interrupted before drooping down the steps and across the path to seats set out in the room. Guy would march over following behind the white haired kid picking the seat beside him, not entirely intentional but all the same people in similar positions chose to stick together rather than apart.
"G'day"
Once more giving the kid a small salute of sorts notable for kids just saying hi.

She would smile slightly as she felt his hand grasping her own, feeling that tension that had built up from speaking up in class starting to melt away. Though when the teacher turned her focus on Cael, his answer would get a groan from Kazumi as she sighed and scrubbed her hand over her face.
She loved her cousin, very much. But he was definitely an asshole and arrogant as all fucking hell, something she had noticed even when they were little. Simply shaking her head she would stay silent, sliding down into her seat as she curled her fingers about Patrick's hand and glanced at the two new guys that came in. One she knew, if only because her Mother knew his Father. That type of thing...having met him a couple times before, but yeah, they were not as close as she was with the Seran twins.
The other, upon closer inspection she recognized to be the one from football tryouts. Though she wouldn't say anything to either of them, instead just content to stay in her little zone back here at the back of the class with her boyfriend, hopeful this class would not drag out too too long. Sure, she liked the topic and always hoped it would shed some light on her own issues, but that didn't mean she wanted to sit and listen to a long, drawn out, boring lecture for too long.
Slowly her thumb would trace along the back of Patrick's hand. Just a casual gesture of affection, nothing more. Remaining silent for the most part due to the fact that she really had nothing to say and she didn't want to comment on Cael's being a jackass in front of everyone else. So yeah, silent was best.

If they knew so little about it then why were they throwing diagnosis of it out left and right? Patrick figured that they should spend more time studying the damn thing and maybe splitting it up into categories before they went off diagnosing people all willy nilly and the like. Figuring that misdiagnosis was a pretty serious problem if they started treatment for the wrong thing. But then again Patrick wasn't the expert in the field. He had his opinion but really, it was like an asshole, everyone had one.
So Patrick just shut his trap because it didn't seem like opinion time as she asked the other kid, Kazumi's cousin, he thought, that question. Patrick honestly didn't care that he was being a jackass. Didn't bother him any. He wasn't invested in class enough to really care that it was slowing the class down. Sorry, he just wasn't that studious.
What he was rather interested in though, was the girl that he was holding hands with. The one that had his heart. He had felt the tension melt away when he grasped her and hand now he felt her thumb tracing lines on his hand. All he could really do was give her hand an affectionate little squeeze to show her that he cared, seeing as he could really make out with her now. So for now he'd wait, for class to be over...
