Taylor and Luke had been roaming the city looking for a place to set up shop. They were doing a job for a few of Luke's 'friends'. Well, Taylor was going to do the job. Luke had to run off and tend to some other 'jobs', this meant our little blond girl was all alone. She was told to wait at a certain bench in some random park. Taylor hadn't even seen the name but being that it was New York city, there wasn't a shortage of parks. Besides, Luke had led her hear. He gave some very vague instructions though. Stay where she was, keep eyes open for cops, hold on to their 'stuff'.
Only deal if someone knows the code word. Oddly enough... Luke took off before giving her the code word and between the two of them, there was only one cellphone. Which, as usual was left with Taylor in case of emergency.Luke had also given her a butterfly knife so that she could protect her self as this place didn't exactly look all that safe for her, at least not in Luke's eyes. Though if it were up to him she'd be wrapped in bubble wrap. Time ticked by for Taylor.
Her blond hair peeking from the black and lime green striped hoodie she wore. Her hands stuffed into her pockets as she watched the area around her from under the hood that covered her grey blue eyes. She wore a black and blue plaid pleated skirt that as wind blew by, ruffled around her upper thighs. Black fishnets with rips and tears in them decorated her legs, and tied up and looking like they were about to fall apart were her favorite pair of high tops decorating her feet. She would kick the ground giving off this, innocent vibe. Which wasn't totally false. Taylor did still have a bit of it left somewhere despite her life.
A few cat call attempts were made towards her as boys and men walked by. None of them earning so much as a peep from the young blond girl. Not even when someone bumped in to her. Sure she stumbled back a bit but soon she stood like a stone again, eventually sitting down on the bench next to her. She would sigh. How long would this take? This wasn't exactly her first deal, but in Virginia it always seemed to go by faster. Perhaps that was because her and Luke always did it together.
In New York it was hard for them. Everything seemed so much more expensive here. Don't even get her started on shoplifting. She was good at it, no doubt but they certainly made it a challenge in some places around here. What did it look like around her? Well the grass was green, benches and trash cans dotted the rather used walking path that circled around an old busted up playground. Children ran and laughed, the sun was out... which as far as Taylor knew was pretty uncommon in New York there was mostly clouds out on good days.
"I hope Luke wont be too long. I don't know what I'll do if someone walks up wanting some. What kind of dope leaves with out telling me the password?"

Living the life of a drug addicted hier to a mob family was never easy, but the former definitely took some of the edge off. The only complication was that he happened to be getting said drugs from his dead father's organization, albeit through a middleman, but it was still a tricky situation to say the least. The mob had been cracking down on Oliver as of late, letting him know just how "important" it was that he take his rightful place as the head since his brother had been MIA. Unfortunately for them, Oliver had little to no interest in the operation, or much else for that matter.
No, the only things on his mind were his nagging sister's safety and keeping his head as high in the clouds as he could. The sister dilemma was an easy fix, since she had never been one to get into trouble. That was his recent calling, and it had her up late at night hoping and praying he didn't end up like their parents. Keeping his constant intoxication was almost as easy, until recently at least. He had to go out of his way to get his product and avoid the family, but he seemed to meet the most interesting people because of it. Well, maybe not interesting to him, but far from normal.
Today was no different, as he pulled his Mercedes up next to the entrance to one of New Yorks more shady parks, hoping that his new middleman was a change of pace from his last few. The last thing he needed was someone that wanted his product even more than he did, but if it came down to that he would kick their face into the pavement like the last guy. With that in the back of his mind, Oliver strolled into the park with a lit Marbollo between his lips. He had a red and black plaid button up long sleeve, sleeves rolled up, with a pair of torn and faded gray jeans and some generic navy blue hitop shoes. His hair was up in a medium length fauxhawk, and his bloodshot deep blue eyes were covered by some black sunglasses.
His eyes would scan the scenery as he slowly walked through the park, taking into account the abundance of families with their kids playing on the nearby playground. It sickened him deep down that he was doing an exchange around children, but desperate times brought desperate measures. Besides, if their parents really cared about them they wouldn't have brought their kids to such a trash-ridden park in the first place. Oliver rolled his eyes at their lack of decency, having no compassion for their class or the lack of funds that more than likely kept them in such a dingy part of the city. To him, they didn't try hard enough to escape their monotonous life.
Finally, his eyes caught a glimpse of a young girl sitting alone on a park bench, a number of guys making it their business to who and haw at her as the walked by. There wasn't much to make her stand out other than the fact she was by herself, and the fact she had her hood up, but neither of those things necessarily meant that she was his hookup. Never-the-less, he decided to test his analasis out, since no one else around seemed to fit the profile of middleman, or woman if his intuition was correct.
Even as he walked up to her, he couldn't help but remember something about how he was supposed to pick his package up from a guy. Plans often changed in this business, but when they did the buyer was usually informed. This hadn't been the case, but he was beyond giving two shits about minor details as long as this chick wasn't out to kill him. He would take his seat a couple feet down the bench from her, laying his right arm on the back of the bench, the opposite way from where she was sitting. "I may just be grasping at straws here, but does the word password mean anything to you?" His gaze would be focused on the park in front of them, never turning to actually acknowledge her. This was strictly business.

Taylor watched from under her hood as a limo pulled up not too far out of her line of sight. She wondered what it was doing out here. Limos didn't come through this part of the city, at least she didn't think they did. A boy got out, who looked about the same age as her and her "brother". She would shift a little on the bench as she watched the boy get closer and closer. He lit a cigarette between his lips, the sunglasses covered his eyes and he walked oh so casually through a neighborhood that wasn't safe for the likes of him. Taylor had already judged him. He was probably some pompous kid from some rich school looking to score some for him and his buddies.
She hated Luke for having left to run another job but they did need the extra cash so, here she would sit. Her grey blue eyes remained on him as he sat down a few feet from her on the bench. She looked away and stared at the children playing on the jungle gym. When he spoke of a password, her eyebrows raised. Not that he could see under her hood. There was a moment of silence where she cursed her brother mentally for leaving her here with out the password.
"Maybe it means a little something. Passwords are always useful."
Her rarely used voice coming out softly past her pink lips. She would clear her throat and shift around a bit on the bench. Her legs would cross and her hands would leave her pockets to rest on her thighs. For a moment she would think, the boy must have been here to meet her. Well rather, he had probably come to meet Luke. With a sigh she reached up pushing the hood back away from her face. She really didn't need it. No one ever suspected the girl for being anything any way. At least they didn't suspect her in Virginia. Her blond hair was a mess, no doubt from the hood being up. Her grey blue eyes were lined heavily with dark dramatic eyeliner and eyeshadow and her skin was ever so pale.
"Guess you were the one my brother was supposed to wait for."
She said before sticking her hands back in her pockets and standing up. She'd look at the children in the playground once more before looking over at him.
"So...what'cha want?"
She went straight to business. She didn't like being here any longer than she should and if this meant dealing quick and bolting. Then so be it. Her busted up sneaker would lightly tap against one of his shoes to add emphasis that she wanted to go. It wasn't cause she was scared really, she just hated doing deals out in the open. Why her brother had picked this spot was beyond her. Still, cash was cash and that was what it came down to isn't it?

Oliver waited for some sort of response from the young blonde that sat just a couple feet away from him, keeping his gaze on the less fortunate families that tried enjoying their day at the park. As the moments of silence built up, he started assuming that he was wrong in believing she was his contact, and so he shifted slightly to get up and move on to the next suspect. Lucky for him, however, she chimed in quietly from within her hood, causing him to stop and relax once again.
His eyes would shift to the corner as she removed her hood, giving him a better idea of just who he was dealing with. She didn't really look like a dealer, but she didn't look innocent by any means either. She was attractive, something that Oliver hadn't counted on, and for some reason the needed up hair only added to his approval. She was different, in a good way, but he wasn't there to pick up his courier. He would just sit there with a stone cold look on his face as he waited to get things started.
She mentioned that she had a brother, who had to be the person he had spoken with on the phone to secure the deal. He would shift his attention to her after she asked what he wanted, his right eyebrow perking up in a questioning fashion at her strange question. Did she really not know why she was there, and if so did she even have his package. "Well, I'd hope your brother at least gave you my package. If not, than we're just wasting each others time."
He would slide down the bench to get a little closer to the girl, leaning the rest of the way to whisper into her ear. "If, however, you do have what I need, feel free to follow me." With that said, he would get up from the bench, put his cigarette back in his mouth to take a long drag from it and start walking back to his limo. If she didn't follow, he would tell his driver to take him home to make some calls for a new deal, but if she followed he would continue the deal from the back of his limo.

Taylor would blink and a blush would form on her cheeks. Not because she thought the guy was cute or anything, but because her words had clearly shown her inexperience. Luke handled any and all deals. He thought Taylor had seen him do it enough times that she could handle it for once on her own.
"Uhm... Uhh..."
The boy moved closer just before getting up and walking off. Taylor had heard him and for a moment she sat there. She looked around for Luke expecting him to run up at any moment and take this over. Biting her lip she would hop up and slip her hands into her pocket. Slowly she would shuffle along behind the boy. No one really noticed them anyway, so she didn't really have to pretend that she was doing something else. What had Luke said? Stay put. Yea that wasn't going to happen. They needed their little deal to go through and Taylor would make sure it did.
It did make her a bit happy though, that they wouldn't be doing the deal out in the open. As it was... she was already nervous with out her step brother. Once to the limo she would slip into the car and as the door was shut behind her, she would sigh softly. Her eyes adjusted to the light in the limo as she glanced around. Her hands would reach up and unzip the hoodie, a few scars were visible on her chest just under her collar bone but below that, covering her stomach was a box.
Her brother had taught her how to hide things under her hoodies and usually he was the only one to see her scars except for Nyx. Now... this boy too had seen some of them. She would zip her hoodie back up after removing the box and setting it on her lap. After her hoodie was zipped back up and her scars were hidden she spoke.
"I have it, I just stick my foot in my mouth sometimes."
She did her best to appear calm in this situation and so far so good. Though she had to admit, if only to her self... being calm was a strength of hers, but not in this type of situation.
