Camping with your Crush (Ryu)

[Ryu Hikari]

Kazuki shifting and mumbling softly in his sleep as Kazue came into his tent and curled up next to him after waking up from her nightmare, he wouldn't be the only one to wake up surprised next to someone, in the morning, Kazue would wake up to Kazuki latched onto her, just like their dad, he had the tendency to latch onto anything nearby when he was asleep.

As morning broke, Kazuki was fast asleep in his sleeping bag as he rolled over, his hand poking out of the blanket, before grabbing his cell phone, silencing the alarm. He wasn't getting up anytime soon... not yet at least.

Kazue felt arms slip around her but didn't register it. Ryu was clinging to her and all she did was cling back. The warmth of someone else close by was an extra comfort she had not expected. The alarm going off in the morning would wake Kazue, even though Ryu managed to turn it off. Sleepily she would reach up and rub at her eyes. It would take a moment to realize she was being held onto by someone and when she did, she'd blink. She didn't remember crawling into Ryu's tent last night. Well... she did kind of. She remembered the nightmare and then the hazy thought of slipping into his tent.

She would stare at him, a blush covering her face as she saw him still sleeping and holding on to her. For a moment, she thought about slipping out and back into her tent, but she didn't think she could do that with out waking him up. A soft sigh would leave her as she would cuddle up to him in hopes sleep might take her again. It did, though it wasn't a heavy sleep. A light nap was more like it. Still, she didn't mind him being so close. Though this was something she'd leave out when telling her mother how her camping trip went.

Before long, morning came, and Kazuki... was still asleep in his sleeping bag. After rolling over and shutting his alarm off, continuing to latch onto Kazue, he rolled back onto his back, the top of his head poking out from beneath the blanket, as he continued to sleep, that is, until...

"... Mmm..."

Stirring slightly as he felt something cuddle up to him, his mumbling came out muffled from beneath the blanket. Looking half-asleep, his front hair falling into his eyes, Kazuki stared back as he saw Kazue lightly sleeping and clinging to him, causing him to blush faintly.

"..."

Nothing like waking up and finding your adoptive half older sister/crush half-naked and clinging to you!

Kazue would gently nuzzle her face against his chest sweetly. Though she'd hear a soft mumble coming from what she was nuzzling and slowly, her gray eyes opened to look at what it was she was cuddling. She looked confused for a moment and then looked up to see who it was. She would have remembered had it not been for the groggy feeling. Seeing Ryu looking down at her, a slight blush to his cheeks, a bright red blush covered hers and she would let go rather quickly. Her hands would gather her blanket around her self as she quickly worked to formulate an explanation.

"Uhm... I... I... had a nightmare and... got scared."

It was rather ironic considering she had warned him this would happen.

"I dreamed that big monster guy from the library attacked again and..."

Her voice trailed off as she covered her self with her blanket. She felt a bit exposed what with her white night shirt having ridden up to reveal her underwear. She felt quite embarrassed. She was a teenage girl after all, having nightmares and then crawling into someone elses room was something children did.

"I'm sorry if I woke you."

She said still blushing and not able to look at Ryu. Though she had gotten a pretty good look at him when she had been cuddling up against him a moment ago.

Blinking sleepily down at Kazue as he saw a bright red blush cover her cheeks, he then felt her let go rather quickly as he immediately let go of her too, his own blush gradually fading away and he saw her hands quickly gather her blanket around herself.

"...? I see... It will be alright Kazue, he will never lay a single finger on you again, not while I am still alive and breathing."

Looking down over to Kazue as he saw her cover herself with her blanket and unable to look at him while continuing to blush away, which he wasn't surprised about, since he had been sleeping shirtless the entire time and was pretty surprised himself to wake up next to fanservice Kazue. Shifting closer to Kazue, he'd then wrap his arms around her if she let him, holding her comfortingly through her blanket.

"... You don't have to apologize Kazue, you didn't wake me up, it was my cellphone alarm that woke me up. I'm sorry if I woke you up..."

Continuing to hold her close to him through her blanket, he wasn't surprised that he had latched onto Kazue during the night, he knew he had the tendency to latch onto anything that happened to be nearby, he just didn't remember when, during the night, Kazue came into his tent, not that it really mattered.

"... I kind of... don't want to get up and out of my tent just yet..."

It was sweet of Ryu to say that, even if he had only been trying to reassure her that she was safe. He sounded sincere enough that she knew he wasn't just trying to reassure her, that he meant it but still she felt rather lame for being scared and having a nightmare about it. She doubted her mother would have had a nightmare about it. She'd keep her eyes on the floor and when Kazue felt arms around her she blinked. She'd blush quite hard as she felt him holding her. She didn't exactly know what to say to his apology. Sure his mumbling had woken her up but, in honesty the place she had woken up in was rather nice.

"I-its okay..."

She replied softly, stuttering her words because of that thought. She thought it might be best for her to leave but at his words and the fact he had yet to let her go, she would sit still.

"Oh? Why?"

Though she thought the reason being perhaps it was too early. She didn't really know what time it was. Of course the reason could have also been it might be a bit chilly outside since it is morning.

"... Because I'm still sleepy..."

Kazuki unsuccessfully managing to stifle a yawn, that was part of the reason, but the other reason was despite his initial embarrassment, it was a little nice lying beside Kazue in his tent, even though he had caused her to go into yet another blushing fit when he had wrapped his arms around her.

Letting go of Kazue, he slowly sat up in his sleeping bag, looking half-asleep, his front hair falling into his eyes, as he yawned and stretched, giving her a good view of his muscular upper body. Sitting up completely in his sleeping bag, he'd pull his blanket off and climb out of his sleeping bag, pulling his hoodie on, but left it unzipped.

"... What do you want to eat for breakfast?"

Well that wasn't the answer she hoped to hear. She would nod. It made sense. It was still quite early she assumed and yawned a little her self. She'd look over just in time to see Ryu stretch and quickly look away to prevent more blushing. The red hue had dulled to a soft pink now and she didn't want it to start back at red again. At his question about breakfast she would blink.

"Oh, uhm... I don't know. What ever works fine with me to be honest Ryu-chan. I should... uhm... I should probably get to my tent before the others wake up. Wouldn't want them to see me leaving your tent and assume something."

Kazue said in her soft voice before standing up and making sure to keep her self covered with her blanket. She'd grab her pillow up off the floor and move to the tent door. She'd unzip it and slip out then zip it back closed before hurrying into her tent to avoid being seen. She could only imagine what others would think seeing her wrapped in her blanket and leaving Ryu's tent.

"... Alright, I'll make us breakfast, and yeah, you should, as much as I don't want you to go, though I'm pretty sure the others know we are adoptive older sister and younger brother, they'd probably think you got lonely and wanted some company or something..."

Casually shrugging his shoulders, he'd nod slightly and watch Kazue head out of his tent with her pillow, her blanket still wrapped tightly around her, after the tent flap had been zipped up, Ryu would get changed and then grab all the ingredients he needed for breakfast. Emerging from his tent dressed in a plain orange t-shirt, a light blue jean jacket, and khaki jeans, and a pair of black rimmed glasses, which he wore on occasion, mostly when he was reading and studying, and would get the fire started up again while he waited for Kazue to come.

Kazue, once back in her tent began to change. When she emerged she was once more carrying cold water for both herself and Ryu. Her black wavy locks done up in pigtails. A dark purple tank top that stopped just above her navel, hugged her top. Light blue jeans, the hem around the bottom of the pant legs torn and shredded, and her favorite pair of black ballet flats on her feet she smiled at Ryu. She'd bring him the water and once again lean up on her tip toes to kiss his cheek. Then her attention would turn to sipping her water.

"So... when does the bus come again Ryu-chan?"

She asked curiously. She couldn't rightly remember when the bus was going to be here and normally she wouldn't have cared but she wondered if she would have more time to spend with Ryu, just the two of them.

Looking up and over hearing footsteps coming towards him, he'd smile back at Kazue as he straightened up after getting the fire going, taking the cold water from her and smiling slightly even more as she leaned up on her tip toes and kissed his cheek, taking a sip of his own water before moving to the picnic table and grabbed all the ingredients and the pan and spatula he'd need to make their breakfast.

"... At around 11:30AM, so after we pack everything up, we still have about three hours to spend..."

Getting to work on making the omelet with whatever ingredients Kazue wanted in hers, after he was done making hers, he'd work on cooking his, which had tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, and green onions in it, and then cook up the back bacon, sliding a few pieces onto each plate. After he was done, he'd then cut up some fruit and lay it on the side, and then place both plates on the table, waiting for Kazue to sit down, before digging into his breakfast.

"... I don't want to do anything else... except spend the rest of the time until the bus comes with you..."

Noticing the glasses on Ryu's face after she had kissed him, she blinked. She didn't know he wore glasses. There was a moment of her looking him over as if he were a new person before a soft smile crossed her lips.

"I didn't know you wore glasses... you look very good in them."

As breakfast was being made, Kazue would nod to his words about when the bus would get there. The only request for her omelet was that it have a lot of cheese. She liked cheesy omelets. She'd help him with what he let her help him with and when breakfast was done she'd sit down with him at the picnic table before eating. A blush crept to her cheeks about him wanting to do nothing but spend time with her. It was sweet. She could hear her mother squealing like a fan girl in the back of her mind. She had heard her mother do it often enough when watching Ouran Host club.

"Good, cause that is exactly how I wanted to spend my time as well. Doing nothing but spending it with you."

She'd smile happily after eating some of her breakfast and had she been some cute little cat girl, she probably would have purred.

"...?"

Noticing Kazue looking him over while he grabbed the ingredients and utensils and did the prep work for their breakfast, he'd smile back slightly as he unknowningly reached up and adjusted his glasses, pushing them back up to the bridge of his nose.

"I only wear glasses on occasion, mostly when I am reading or studying. Thanks... I'm glad you like them, I was afraid they would make me look like a nerd or something..."

Putting lots of cheese in Kazue's omelet, as per her request, he'd then work on and finish up the rest of their breakfast, letting Kazue cut up the fruit while he cooked the back bacon, and once everything was done, he'd start eating his breakfast as soon as Kazue joined him at the table. Smiling slightly seeing a blush creep to her cheeks, he couldn't help but think that she was so cute every time it happened.

"... Then it's settled, after we pack up our tent and equipment, we'll spend the rest of our free time with each other."

Continuing to eat his breakfast, a few minutes later, he had finished eating, and would wash the dishes and clean up, letting Kazue help out if she wanted to, before heading into his tent and stowing everything away. After that was all done, he'd get to work on packing everything inside his tent away into his bag, before emerging from his tent and placing his bag and sleeping bag on top of the picnic table, before working on deconstructing his tent. Once he had finished, he'd fold his camping chair up and lean it and the tent up against the picnic table, and sit on top of the picnic table while he waited for Kazue to return with all her packed up gear.

Kazue would giggle at his words about him thinking he looked like a nerd and she watched him adjust the glasses. It almost sent her into a squeeing fit like her mother. Instead she just smiled.

"Well... they kinda do I guess... Or rather make you look smarter. Still very attractive though."

Kazue would giggle and cut up the fruit for him. With breakfast being finished and the two eating she'd nod to his words about it being settled. After breakfast and the clean up of dishes and the like, Kazue would set about packing up her things. Her clothes, her cooler, and everything else was packed away fairly quickly. When it came down to her tent needing to be packed, she would make little jokes to her self about the tent falling down as it was deconstructed and giggle. It wasn't long after Ryu had finished packing up his stuff that Kazue would skip over setting her things down beside his. She'd move in front of him and gently take his glasses off his face and put them on her own with a smirk.

"Ne, Ryu-chan... How do I look?"

She asked with a giggle as her pigtails bounced lightly.

"... I would hope I am more than just smarter looking. I may be adopted, but I am still the son of Kazuya Hikari, it would be a tragedy if I was stupid, but I am quite happy it's still very attractive."

After they finished breakfast and cleaned everything up, once he had finished packing up everything, he'd look over seeing Kazue skip over to him as he sat on top of the picnic table, setting her things down beside his and stood in front of him, feeling her gently remove his glasses off his face and put them on, Kazuki smirking slightly back at her.

"... Like a sexy librarian. I'll take books out and return them late to you any time."

Kazuki grinning evilly at her, he'd let her wear his glasses for the rest of the day if she liked, they weren't prescription glasses, just general reading glasses that anyone that needed them could buy and use right away. Moving over so that Kazue could sit up on the picnic table beside him, he'd rest both his hands behind him and lean back, his arms keeping him up and his headphones hanging around his neck.

"... Having fun with my glasses there, Kazue?"
