The boy who walked in late and called the teacher 'sexy' earned a disapproving sound from little Kazue. She even sat back in her seat and rolled her eyes. Those types disgusted her. The kind that thought they were gods gift to women. Her mother had warned her about them and taught little Kazue that they were nothing but idiots who breathed trouble. Kazue's attention would return to Ryu and she smiled a little in thanks that he had spoken up after her. Now she didn't feel like a complete fool. She would look back at her notebook and make a few more notes. The teacher's question hung in the air a bit, Kazue would look up as she waited to see if others were going to answer and this time, slowly her hand would rise and wait to be called upon.
"I believe most psychologists look for Juvenile delinquency, Lack of remorse or guilt, and pathological lying. Of course there are tons of research still being done and many of the signs that psychologists look for are in groups because it can't be narrowed down to one specific sign. Psychology is not an exact science."
Kazue said softly as she looked at the teacher. Her arm would lower and she would go back to jotting things down. This class didn't seem all that hard. Questions and answers right? She didn't know what she was scared of.

Ignoring Mr. Frenchie prick aka. Mr. Cael Seran himself, strutting in making his grand entrance and gracing the class with his presence, Ryu would roll his eyes in sync with his adoptive half-sister. Smiling slightly back at Kazue, he return to writing down notes, occasionally cross-checking his notes with hers, to make sure his notes were accurate and correct.
Hearing Ms. Winters ask another question, Ryu would raise his hand and wait as Kazue gave her answer and was called on, before lowering his arm and giving his own answer.
"Broken homes, rejection by parents, poor discipline, lack of good parental models, lack of attachment to early caregivers, impulsivity, conflict-filled childhoods, and poverty also have all been suggested as psychological and social factors contributing to the development of psychopathy."
Returning to writing down more notes, aside from continuing to check his notes against Kazue's, he'd pay no heed to Cael and one of the girls that was part of his little harem.

Fitting right into his regular nitch it seemed. Right in the center of all that attention. A wry grin turned upright as the boy kicked back his heels and leaning forward on an elbow not seeking to release his grip but rather edge closer to Aryanna from behind and supressing what would be a fit of laughter turning to a small chuckle only she'd be able to hear.
"I suppose then I'd fit right in."
Pursed lips turned into a feral scowl before letting his eyes narrow on the two Asian kids close to one another and then across the room to the red-head. Cael had a sixth sense for things but he didn't have all the pieces together all he could tell was that he wasn't very well liked. It didn't matter, he didn't mind being the bad guy.
"So what you're saying is their daddy's didn't love them enough."
A smooth snicker peeling his cheeks upright. A few more prods, he wanted to stir the cauldren.

Aryanna would lean back a bit more, her head turning just a bit as she listened to Cael speak. A small chuckle given as she shook her head, glancing back at him over her shoulder with those oddly colored eyes. "Yes, well at least you make it look good mon cher." Giving him a little wink before turning back around to face the class.
Yet even then her head would lean back just a little to allow him to toy with her hair if he continued to want to do so, arms folding across her stomach rather lightly....A somewhat casual position really, one hand grasping that rosary that hung about her neck and toying with it softly. She thought of how to answer this newest question that was given to them, but in the end she would just choose to keep quiet.
She honestly didn't have any desire to take this course, it was just something that she had to do. Nothing more. A little bored sigh passing her lips as she twirled that rosary about. Her brow raising slightly as she heard Cael speak up once more, only to give a small laugh to his words. "Ah, well that explains what is wrong with me." A little grin curling on her lips as one hand would move to rest atop her desk, nails drumming along it.

Azura did not say anything at first, simply allowing her silence to carry on as the rest of the class went about answering the question. She wans't entirely sure on the answer, but she felt that she had at least a small idea. She herself had never been diagnosed as such but she had been around that lab long enough to know of a few people who had been.
Though once the rest of the class had answered, she would sit forward in her seat, her little hands tugging down the skirt of her dress as she cleared her throat to try and draw attention to herself, not wanting to be rude or anything. "I believe that some of the more baser symptoms have ranged from anything such as animal torture and murder to a sick fascination with the dead. Typically when a person exhibits symptoms of psychopathy they also tend to have other psychological disorders in the works as well. However it is common for them to show signs of not grasping what they did as wrong. In fact many of them will reason out their behavior to whatever twisted logic makes sense to them."
She was sure some of that had been said by somebody else, but she just chose to word it differently. She just wanted to say something in order to make it look like she was here to learn something other than what was going on with the students of this school. It helped to solidify her cover.

She would glance toward Cael for a moment and then run her tongue along her lower lip, turning to look at the other kids as they began to answer. Each of them seemed to hit certain key points, even that pretty little redhead who had otherwise been silent through the entire class. In fact everyone was doing good except for Cael and that Aryanna girl that he seemed to be toying with. Undoubtedly another one of his little "toys" as he liked to call them.
"Very good...All of those are very valid signs of psychopathy and though you are correct, it is not an exact science, these things still help psychologists in trying to catch a psychopath early on. Who can tell me why it is key to try and catch them early in life?" Her lips pursing for a moment as she debated on asking another question or just letting it stand at the one.
Finally deciding to go ahead and ask another to hopefully spur some conversation or something. "Also, each of you give me the name of one psychopath that has become famous over some crime or crimes they have committed."

Kazue would smile and let Ryu check his notes to hers. Kazue had to be very studious cause her mom wanted her to get a good job. Silk was pretty honest with her daughter about her life. She told Kazue how she hadn't actually done much in school and how if she hadn't married Tenchi, they probably wouldn't be as well off as they were. Though the idea of not having a ton of money didn't bother Kazue, she still didn't want to let her mom down. Now she had a dad too, she didn't want to let him down either.
She heard the other students giggle and laugh. The mention of how now they had all their problems figured out or even as one boy commented, that their daddies didn't give them enough love. For Kazue that statement kind of hit home. Though in her case it wasn't Kazuya didn't give her enough love, it was simply... he wasn't around to. She hated to say she blamed anyone but she did know it was her mom's doing. Kazue would look up as the teacher posed two new questions and Kazue would wait seeing if anyone else was willing to answer. When it seemed no one would, her little hand went up into the air again.
"Well for obvious reasons, Ms. Winters. Psychopaths are usually dangerous to society. Their behaviors can often lead to violence and even killing."
Kazue would be quiet for a moment, before she would continue to answer the second question posed by their teacher.
"A prime example of a Psychopath would be Ted Bundy. He killed and raped women from the years of 1974 -1978. It was said that he was a handsome, charming and well educated man. He only confessed to 30 deaths but it is estimated he killed over a hundred women. The deaths of his victims were usually caused by strangulation, or bashing their heads in. Some, if not most of his victims were raped and after death, mutilated or molested. He showed no remorse for these crimes though he clearly showed the signs of a Psychopath."
Finished with her little ramble she would return to her note taking. It wasn't a surprise to her self that she knew so much about this topic. Silk was an odd parent and always went about teaching her daughter things and making random trivia games about things or people that could harm her. Some of what Kazue knew was pretty morbid, but then again... her mother was so off, if Kazue was normal there would be a problem.

Ryu smiling slightly back at Kazue before re-absorbing himself in checking his notes against hers, although it was guaranteed that Ryu was second in line to take over Hikari Industries, after his father, he still needed to be very studious, because it would reflect very poorly upon his father and his late mother if he did not do well in his studies, and that was the last thing he wanted to do, to have others look down upon his parents.
The giggles and laughter of the other students lost upon him, including the comments on how they all had their issues and problems figured out and Cael's comment, that their dad's didn't show them enough love, that statement did not hit Ryu as hard as it had hit Kazue, because for the past nine years, Kazuya had shown Ryu and Mai nothing but love. After Kazue had given her answers to the two questions Ms. Winters posed, Ryu would raise his hand and answer once he was called on.
"Also, identification of psychopathic behavior prior to the development of their more treatment-resistant traits may offer the best hope for dealing with the disorder, and at the very least, they would be just a nuisance, instead of dangerous to society. Another example of a notorious psychopath is John Wayne Gacy, Jr. who was an American serial killer and rapist who sexually assaulted and murdered at least 33 teenage boys and young men between 1972 and 1978. He had buried 26 of his victims in the crawl space of his home, buried three others elsewhere on his property, and discarded the remains of his last four known victims in a nearby river. He was convicted of 33 murders and sentenced to death for 12 of these killings, and was executed in May 1994."
Ryu resuming writing his notes, he would condense what had been said so far into point note form, this way, he'd have an easier time going back and reading through his notes when he had to study later on.
