Legion couldn't help but feel a little excited as he walked out of the compound. Finally, he was allowed to be out. Out to play. Something that he had never experienced before. Yes, he was excited, but was not grateful because it had taken too long. While he was playing nice with the good doctor, that was only for now. As was with his kind, he would only be obedient for so long. Only as long as it was beneficial for him. The second he was able to break free from his chains, he fully intended to make his vision a reality. To bathe in the doctor's blood. To free himself and Azura, as far as the others were concerned, they could all go to hell for all he cared. He wouldn't be too broken up if they didn't make it, although he never showed that to any of them. The only one that knew his opinions on that was the one that he couldn't lie to, not for lack of skill, just because of their connection.
Right now he was waiting, patiently on a street corner. At least he was trying to. Arms crossed as he waited for his angel to show up. Hand coming to rest lightly on the small radio collar on his neck. The one the doctor had installed on him to keep him in line. Legion hadn't been happy about it and visibly so, although he agreed so he could get out for a little bit. But right now he just stood and waited on the corner, wearing a pair of loose jeans a and a grey t shirt.
He knew she was getting close, he could feel it, and that made excitement well up inside of him. Legion hadn't seen her consistently in too long. In breaks of the doctor's "Lessons" that had involved a myriad of things ranging from mundane to pretty interesting, ie murder. But they had always been done in the lab. And that was frustrating as all get out. But now he was out for a night on the town with his lovely Angel and that made everything better.
What exactly was he doing out? According to that bastard of a doctor it was "getting his bearings". Word on the experiment hall was he was about to do some jobs in the city, which according to his "lessons" meant that people would suffer. Although now he was only out with Azura to "get his bearings". As he wait there for her to show up he couldn't deny he was getting impatient. There were so many things to see, so many people to kill, but Legion was no glutton. He had a high degree of self control and could wait for his angel.
And so he did...

"Take him out and give him a feel for the city."
Those were the orders spoken to her by the doctor, and though she was nervous, scared even, she knew exact what it was she wished to do to help him get his "bearings" tonight. True, it would likely cost her his love, his affection...on some level. But she had promised him, and Azura never went back on her word, and that applied more so to him than anyone else.
Little fingers fidgeting with that silver collar that had been put about her neck, she would whimper softly, mostly to herself. She knew that it was to keep Legion in line, that much had been told to her and based on the portion of the collar which was pressed into her flesh at the back of her neck, it was not hard to guess how. This collar was designed to kill her. Pure and simple and to the point.
Yet she could not think on that right now. Not when she could feel him drawing closer. She was near the area she had told him to wait for her, and she could feel his antsy, anxious emotions as they welled up inside him. He wanted to go play, to explore the city and to get into trouble, she could sense it, but she had other things in mind....
Dressed in a long, flowing white dress, her fiery red locks spilling down around her face and shoulders, she looked every bit the angel that she always did when she was around him. However, inside her anxiety was getting the better of her, making her stomach turn, despite how much she tried not to allow it. She knew he would feel it too, and she did not wish to upset him, but some things she could not hide.
As she turned the corner, hazel eyes would fall upon him as he stood there...unable to help the slow smile that curled upon her lips as she approached. She loved him, so very much, and she wanted nothing more than to keep him to herself, to never assist in him regaining his memory. She wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of eternity with him. But she knew that she could never live with herself if she did not do this. Not to mention, that now, as she stood there looking at him, she could not help but think of how much she wanted to give him back the life that she had stolen from him. Because, despite what anyone might think, Azura honestly believed this was all her fault.
"The city is like a playground is it not?" Spoke softly, words rolling off her tongue in that smooth, gentle tone....Coming up along side him, she would look up at him and smile. The dress she wore was strapless, as were most of them, leaving her shoulders bare and exposing those two marks on her back, at least partially. Little hands gathered up her dress just enough to avoid having it drag upon the dirty sidewalk.
Casting that look toward him, one hand would move from her skirt and softly press against his chest, shivering at the surge of emotions and energy that passed between them. She had been missing this, so badly...having found that she was incapable of being without him for long before the uneasy, antsy feeling settled in. "I have somewhere special I wish to take you Legion. I know that you wish to explore, but this is something that we must do."
Taking a step toward him, she would wrap her arms about his waist and press her head against his chest, taking away his darkness in that instant and allowing him to strip her of her own negative emotions. A sigh of relief escaping her lips as she closed her eyes, breathing in his scent. "Do you trust me?" Spoke up softly, nuzzling into him and purring the words forth in that loving tone that no other could ever match. No, she loved him more than anything in this world....more than anything in heaven or earth...He was her existence and she was his. She just hoped that after tonight she did not drive him away, she was not sure she could bare it. Was not sure she could be strong enough to withstand such a thing, not when so much of her heart was his...His to do with what he pleased....So much of her at his mercy.

Legion was patient, and he could lie still for hours if he had to, but now was not one of those times, and as such, he paced. He was anxious to get going, mainly because he was a prisoner being paroled, in a slightly more then metaphoric sense. He was ready to be on the outside. To get into the city and experience the free world. Though as he paced he felt Azura's anxiety, which was concerning. It wasn't the sense of anxiousness that he felt, that desire to get out and explore the world but it was more akin to a sense of dread. It was concerning to him because well, he didn't like when she felt this way. He loved her and wanted to do everything in his power to eliminate anything that made her feel unhappy, or perturbed. But there was also a sense of uncertainty slipping into his mind. She may not be able to lie to him, and he may not really be able to lie to her, but that didn't necessarily mean that they had to reveal the truth to each other. The question really was, what brought about her anxiety?
Though as she finally did round the corner, Legion couldn't help but smile softly as he watched her lips curl up into a smile. His green eyes giving her the once over. She was absolutely beautiful. Flowing red hair contrasted with a white strapless dress that accentuated her light skin, those hazel eyes, combined with that soft and innocent smile. Looks alone she was absolutely perfect in his eyes, fitting the description of an angel, but what got him ever time was that she was his angel. Innocent in every way. Able to take his darkness away, absolutely perfect in his eyes.
Smiling as she walked up alongside of him he'd answer just as gently, "Large, lots of lights, lots of playthings. Sounds like an amusement park to me."
That was said in jest, mostly, with her around urges and desires were suppressed. He didn't need to be that killer, necessarily, but it was always on his mind. Though as she got closer those desires began to fade. And as she pressed that hand to his chest Legion would gasp at that surge of emotions, darkness being taken away from him a bit in the flow of emotions between them. Her innocence slipping into him, nulling out urges to kill. Though he couldn't help but be a little surprised as she told him she had somewhere "special" to take him. And a little concerned that it was something that they had to do. All this drawing a curious, "Oh?"
As she wrapped her arms around him though, his arms wrapped around her, pulling her close to him, sighing as her head pressed against his chest. Feeling the last remnants of the darkness inside of him leaving he smiled, knowing that for the moment, he wasn't a demon. Feeling at peace now. Shivering lightly as she nuzzled into him, purring that question he smiled at that loving tone. Sure, he had no idea what was coming, nor could he really, but for the moment he loved her more then anything and was more then happy to spend eternity with her. So his reply was a simple but loving, "How could I not, my angel?"

No sooner had her arms wrapped about him and her head pressed against his chest did she feel all her doubts and anxieties begin to wash away, once more consumed within the darkness that she drew from around his heart. A soft, relieved sigh escaping her lips as she closed her eyes and slowly traced her tongue along her lips, her head turning slightly so that she could press her nose into the center of his chest, drawing in his scent in one soft yet deep breath. "I only hope that you still feel that way by the end of this night."
Her words were soft and muffled against his chest, barely audible, and quite possibly difficult for him to hear....which was her intent....She was merely thinking out-loud and did not intend for him to actually hear what she said for the simple fact that she did not want to breed more doubt within him than there already was....more unease.
Eventually, she would pull her head back and look up at him. Those bright hazel eyes glinting in the street light and shimmering with innocence and purity that could not be faked no matter how good an actress she was. No, it was who she was and if anyone knew that beyond a doubt it was the man before her..."Come...Let us go. This promises to be a very long night for you my demon..." A sad smile on her lips, though she would simply rise up on her tip toes and press her lips to his as her hand pressed against the back of his head to pull him down into her.
Once more, as always, those emotions flooded her...her heart racing and her breath catching in her throat. Never could she feel this way with another and in this moment there was nobody else she wanted to feel this way with. Still, regardless of how much she wanted to just remain here, alone, with him...she knew he was anxious to get out and she knew that there were things she had to take care of.
Slowly, reluctantly, she would pull away...her small hand brushing against his cheek before falling away from him completely. Eyes once more cast upward upon him as her little fingers laced within his own, softly tugging him forward and down, along the sidewalk. "I only ask one thing love...." Casting a glance back at him and looking at him with all seriousness, wanting to emphasize through more than her emotions how important this single thing was. "You must promise me, that no matter what happens, you will not act out upon your impulses to protect me, nor will you act out upon your impulses to feed the demon...."
Despite the seriousness of her words, she would purr them forth in a manner that was so soft, so loving and gentle that it would be hard for anyone else to know how dire and serious this request was...how desperately she needed him to promise this. She had worked for the past few days to plan this off so that it went off without a hitch...yet she knew that things could always happen that would prove unpredictable and those were the things that could cause death or defeat at any turn. Those were the things she always looked out for. Even now. "Promise me Legion. It will all make sense later on, but right now...I need you to promise this to me." Pulling him around the corner and into a darker, more secluded area...the street dark, as the lights had been busted out time and time again by thugs...Yet Azura didn't seemed phased by the imposing feeling that the area held, because in fact she could handle herself in most situations. For now...her only focus was getting to her designated spot so she could change and then getting him to their first visit of the night.....The thought causing her stomach to turn, though as she looked back at him...all that nervousness again melted away.

Legion shivered a bit as she turned her face into his chest, feeling her nose pressing into him, a soft smile gracing his lips. Feeling her take his darkness away he let out a sigh of relief as she inhaled his scent. It was only with her that he could feel like he didn't have to be a demon, that he could be more. The demon would likely chuckle and scoff at that, that a human was more then he, a timeless being, but he knew deep down that that was what he wanted, whether he'd admit it or not.
He'd smile at her words muffled against his chest. No, he couldn't hear them, but they were soft and as innocent as her. He didn't know what she said, but at this point he couldn't imagine it being anything bad, or disconcerning really, if it were, he'd feel it. At least that's what he thought. No, like he said he had no reason not to trust her, at least, from what he could remember.
When she finally pulled back Legion would smile at her, looking into those pure and innocent eyes of hers. Those hazel eyes that told no lies, least not to him anyways. She was a being of pure innocence, he knew that, perhaps better then anyone. Though there was a sadness in her smile that continued to concern him. Then there were her words, those caused him to tilt his head a little bit, a confused frown crossing his face. Now, that, that could not be good. But before he really had time to ponder that he felt her hand at the back of his head as she reached up onto her tip toes to press a kiss against his lips. To which of course Legion most definitely returned. Those emotions of love and joy, on a level that no one could ever match rushed through him. That amazing feeling that only she could deliver to him.
The kiss lingered, slowly and passionately, love clear though the kiss was slow and somewhat methodical. Eventually though, and all to soon in Legion's opinion she slowly pulled away, though reluctance was clear. Looking at her quite confused, even as her fingers laced with his as she pulled him down the sidewalk, him following in tow. Hearing her words and her seriousness, he frowned, not liking or pleased as to where this was going. While he honestly didn't know, it made him worry. The main question being why exactly she was being so cryptic. Worry and fear for her safety only exacerbated by her asking him not to protect her, no matter what, the seriousness of the situation not lost on him.
"What are we doing?" Legion couldn't help but blurt out, even before she said the second part. He was very concerned now. This was supposed to be getting out on the down, getting his bearings. There wasn't supposed to be anything he wasn't prepared for, though he was beginning to get the sinking suspicion that what he had thought couldn't be any further from the truth. He didn't like this not one bit.
Hearing her words and then her pulling him around a corner into a dark street, where he felt truly at home. He still wasn't thrilled though. Feeling her nervousness rise again and then fall. A frustrated growl out of concern rolled from his lips as he answered her, knowing exactly the implications that he was supposed to be promising, "Fine, anything for you Azura..."

Azura didn't like making him feel this way, and as they turned the corner she would shake her head softly. "I am taking you to fulfill a promise I made to you the very first time we met." She nodded, casting a very saddened and almost tearful glance back over her shoulder at him.
However it was his growl, his resistance to give in and his displeasure that affected her most. A sharp little pain in the center of her chest as she whimpered and shrank away from him...Her hand withdrawing from his as she stopped in her movements to lower her head, the tears finally falling from her eyes and rolling slowly down her cheeks. "I..I am sorry my love..I do not mean to make you feel this way. I only wish to give you what I vowed I would."
Timidly she looked up at him, moving closer and softly, soothingly nuzzling into his chest. She knew that he would never intentionally hurt her...at least not right now. Perhaps not ever. But that did not mean she was spared from emotional pain and torment at his hands...even if it was unintentional. Trying her best to sooth him, to ease his unsettled emotions, she would lift her head to look up at him. "Please, just believe me when I say that it will make sense as the night goes on." Purring the words up to him before pulling away and holding her hand out toward him, allowing him to decide if he wished to take it or not.
Should he decide to, she would slowly move to turn in the direction that she had been heading. Staying silent for most of the long walk, not sure what to say, not sure what else to do other than to lose herself in her own thoughts, her own fears. Her free hand coming up to nervously worry a lock of her hair about her fingers. Even with him here, even now, this close...she could not shake the negative emotions for how strong they were....her fear of losing him too great.
About twenty minutes later, she would come to a stop outside of a seemingly abandoned building. Looking up at it with a hint of familiarity in her gaze as she sighed and released his hand. "This is our safe house ...Where we come if things get too bad. Remember this place, because if something should happen, this is where all of us will meet up. For now though.....Wait here for me...." She would then gather up the end of her dress as to not drag it across the steps as she climbed up them, disappearing inside moments later.
A few minutes later, she would reemerge...only now, she looked different than the angel that had gone in only moments ago. Dressed in her black leather outfit, the front zipped up most of the way, lowered just enough to expose a view of her cleavage...giving her a much more sultry look than what she usually held. Black leather boots....black gloves to conceal the tattoos on her wrists and her hair combed through with that special dye that kept it just as black as the clothing she wore. In her hand, that mask which would completely conceal her true self from view.
Looking up at him, she would sigh, shaking her head slightly. "Where we are going...they cannot know that it is me. No matter what. At some point, you will want to tell the girl, that we are going to see, that it is me...who I really am...But trust me....you cannot." It would mean certain death for his family....she knew that and she was sure, when he remembered, when it all made sense, he would know that too.
A little nod given before smoothing her hands over her outfit and looking up at him...."Ready?" Slowly tracing her tongue along her lower lip and then once more reaching out to take his hand. Only a few more blocks until the reached their destination...her uncertainty still there, but that never wavering determination still present. As always.....

"Very. First. time. we. met." Those words rolling slowly from Legion's lips as he parroted the words back to her, in thought. Now, take him for what you will, but for being fairly young Legion was very intelligent. Why? Well that was because the truth was that Legion was not the end all be all. The body he was in, he wasn't aware was not his own. The person who truly owned it, Patrick O'Connor, well he was smart as a whip and the truth was, though Legion didn't know it, was that he wasn't naturally talented at fighting and killing. His real self was, something that had been carved out from endless suffering. The idea that there was anything before really only surfacing now.
Whimpering a bit at the feel of her pain, feeling the hurt as well. Knowing that he was the cause. Watching her shrink away from him. Her hand slipping from his. Her next words though, those only served to confuse him more. Legion certainly didn't remember her vowing anything to him. And he was pained that he forced tears from her eyes, but this was just so confusing to him. Vows she had made to him that he didn't her remember making? Legion trusted her, that was the problem here, well that made him the problem her. She was talking of memories in vivid description that he should have had right? That meant there was something wrong with him. Her wording would also seem to imply that there was a time before he was born that she was speaking of. Nothing was certain save the fact that there were things that he was not privy to, things he should be privy to for that matter.
As she nuzzled into his chest he felt his confusion lessened as she innately took some of his darker emotion, though it was still there. Though at her words he nodded, trusting that everything would make sense at the end of the night. Wanting this gnawing in the back of his mind to end. So all he had was to trust her, slowly but surely taking her hand. And so they walked, for twenty minutes in silence. Feeling her nervousness and worry, spiking his own and his confusion, yet not knowing why she felt this way. What was it that she had to tell him?
After they had finished their walk Legion saw an abandoned building in front of them. Looking at her he tilted her head as she said it was "their" safehouse, not sure what she meant. Did she mean the two of them? Others? The Doctor involved? He just found more and more questions at time went on. "All of us" was confusing too. But at the moment he had no choice but to nod and wait for her, watching her disappear into the building.
When she finally reemerged Legion almost had to do a double take. Almost because with their connection he knew exactly who it was. Though she looked completely different. And at the same time was that an air of familiarity? He couldn't place that, thought, nor did he know where that came from but he knew it to have some sort of truth, somewhere. Though that faded as he looked her over, loving the sultry look and the exposed cleavage. Knowing that she was all his, in that tight leather, a little possessive growl released from his lips, almost forgetting what was supposed to be going on.
"Girl?" Legion asked curiously listening to her words, "Why would I want to tell her?"
Part of him was still rather awestruck at her appearance but her words did well in snapping him out of it. Quite ready to get to the bottom of this mystery, what ever it was. Nodding as she asked that question he took her hand as she led him off...

That possessive growl was not lost on her as she came walking out of the safe house to where she had left him standing. Hazel eyes turning to his own as she blushed just slightly, hands smoothing over the leather of her outfit as she adjusted it to fit her just right, fingers fidgeting with the zipper to adjust it so that not so much of her cleavage was showing, though still enough to hold that sexy, vixen type look that she was going for. Anything to make her seem the complete opposite of the girl that she naturally was.
Looking up at him as she again came to stand before him, she would allow that soft smile to again curl upon her lips before reaching down with one gloved hand and again taking his own so that she could lead him away from here and toward their final destination. With every step in that direction, she felt her nervousness starting to increase, and though his darker side proved to combat any negativity within her, it did not fully wipe this out. It could not. This was far too strong, far too important.
As they walked, Azura would stay silent, knowing that he had questions, but knowing that right now was not the time to answer such. She had to make sure and fulfill her promise, and then from there she would know better what to do in the way of answering any remaining questions he might have. So, with her hand in his, she simply continued along the path she had walked for many a night prior to this.
Eventually, the shappy, dark neighborhood would begin to fade away, left in the distance behind them, in the darkness that swallowed it up and once more committed it to the night. Instead, things began to change, the scenery becoming more suburban, more residential. New homes were being built in this community, and yet there were a few that were already occupied. The lights along the sidewalk making it hard to stick to the shadows, and yet Azura did so, so flawlessly that it was clear that she was either very skilled at what she did or had been here enough times to know just what paths to take.
"We must be careful here. Stay with me until we are in the house." She nodded and would glance over to him, making sure he had heard her given how soft she had been whispering. Assuming he had, she would round a corner and stop to the side of one of the occupied houses. There was a light on in one of the bedrooms, and one on the front porch, but the rest of the house was dark. Exactly what Azura had been expecting for this time of night.
"We have to get inside, from there, the security features can be disabled easily enough. However there are motion sensors upon the ground surrounding the house." She would look at him once more, her eyes very serious before she would shift her head from side to side, feeling the bones crack within it and within her shoulders as she drew in a deep breath. "I will go in...You need to use your ability to move from this shadow to one upon the porch. Okay?" A little smile given before she would step away from him and move to secure her mask into place, completely hiding who she was from sight.
"Legion....Please...Remember that I love you. No matter what happens." A little nod before her physical body would begin to dissolve, leaving nothing but that ethereal being standing before him. All light currently being stuffed out so that she could make her way through the darkness unseen....a simple ghost and nothing more. Her back turning to him as she did this..confident he could handle himself and not about to baby him, she would take off through the shadows of the yard toward the front porch. From there, just as she had several nights in the past two weeks, she would be able to pass through the door, disable the security....and the nightmare ahead of them could truly begin.

Legion smiled at her blushing, finding it nothing but cute. He knew that it was not her usual or preferred style of clothing, that she'd rather wear something, less, suggestive. All the same though, he couldn't help but find it incredible attractive, even if it wasn't, her style. Though he doubted that anyone else but her could pull it off as well as she did. And that was not in the least bit subjective, now was it? No, not at all. Though he smiled softly as she adjusted the outfit knowing that coming off that way made her feel uncomfortable, watching as she patted down the outfit, knowing that in truth she was anything but a vixen. The truth was that she was an angel, his angel.
Smiling as her hand reached out and grabbed his, taking her hand and lacing his fingers with hers he'd follow as she led on again. As they walked his anxiety increased with each passing step, right in time with her nervousness. He didn't know what it was that was making her nervous, really no clue. All he knew was that from what she had said and just feeling her emotions right now, asking wouldn't do any good. She wasn't going to say anything. Though as his darkness took away some of her negative feelings, and her light taking away some of his anxieties about probably the most concerning uncertainty he could think of it didn't take away all of it. And so Legion just followed her in silence, hand in hers, watching the neighborhoods go by one by one, slowly making a turn for the better. More residential, less slummy.
As Legion began to sense that they were getting closer he noticed how well she dodged the lights to keep them in the shadows. While she was very skilled yes, but he also felt like she was slightly too skilled. As if this particular route was something for some reason he couldn't help but feel that she been here before. Like this was a route she had taken many times, something that only grew more concerning to him, based on what she said earlier and the idea that there was a life that he didn't know about.
Legion nodded at her words as they stopped in front of a house, one that Legion knew to be their destination. Instantly his mind went to action mode, remembering her words, but thinking this to be nothing more then a mission that was more, suited for his darker abilities. Noting that there was only one light on in the house. Meaning most of the inhabitants were likely asleep. Good, that meant if they could take the one, maybe two inhabitants awake out their objective would be easier. But then again, that didn't seem to fit well now did it? With her promise that things would be made clear to him. Killing didn't fit the bill right?
"I know," Legion said as she told him about the security features of the house, surprising himself a moment after he said it. Having to think on it a moment, he really did know the security features of the house, without really knowing why, which was somewhat concerning to him. He would nod at her words as she began to put the mask on, tilting his head in confusion at her words that once again sparked his nervousness and concern. Though it didn't lower his effectiveness, it couldn't, just wasn't possible.
Though she up and disappeared before he could ask her anything, though legion knew what she was doing. Shaking his head a bit he'd frown, before doing exactly as she said, moving through the shadows onto the porch, instantly. As he stood there, by the keypad that he knew was there, for some reason, he was tempted to key in the code. He didn't know the numbers, but his body knew the motions. He didn't know how and while he could have keyed the code it and disabled the he knew that that wasn't his job. Even if he could it didn't mean he should. Each of them had specific roles to play and fudging that up could result in an unwelcome out come.
And so he waited, not sure what would come next...

Azura would appear on the porch a moment later, her eyes looking to him though she remained in her current ethereal state. No sigh given, though she wanted to so badly...no need to breath in this form, since technically, she was not living. A little nod given before she would step through the door and disappear.
Moments later, the door would pop open. The security system disabled, completely. Only then would she materialize, looking at him as she pushed it open. "We need subdue the target in the bedroom. I will handle that." A little nod given before she would step into the house and disappear into the darkness. Slipping along the hallway silently and then pausing for a single moment before she stepped into the light that spilled from the bedroom door.
Within the room, the petite brunette was curled up on the bed, reading a book and dressed in a large, baggy t-shirt that was not her own. Hanging from her shoulder, clearly that of a male. Azura knew well who's it was, though she wasn't sure if he would recognize it. Yet she did not have time to really think on it, as the brunette looked up and saw her.
From there, the anger that escaped her seemed to fill the air as she shoved herself off the bed and narrowed crimson and black eyes upon Azura. Growling softly the brunette would look at her as though she had every intention of the world in ripping her throat out, yet Azura would not allow her to get that far. "Get the fuck out of my house! Have you not taken enough from me!?" Stepping forward, aiming to provoke Azura no doubt....But...Instead, she would shoot forward, grabbing the girl about the hair and jerking her back into her chest before she even had time to turn around. Her arm attempting to go about her throat , but instead being met with four fangs as they sank through the leather of her outfit and into her flesh. Blood spilled free from her arm and over the girl's chin, dripping down as the brunette growled and tried to rip out a piece of flesh. The pain enough to make Azura's eyes water, not one to handle such very well....but it did not stop her.
Eventually, with no real choice, she would slam her head into the back of the other girls, feeling her go limp within her arms. She would pay for that most likely, but there was no real choice here. Instead, she would just drag her body to a nearby chair and go about tying her arms and legs to it, to make sure she couldn't get free....The silence of the room broken as an infant began to cry almost uncontrollably upstairs...
With her job done, she would step away, looking to the door....looking to Legion...and remaining silent.....She didn't know what to say to start with...but she had to come up with something....Waiting until he was within the room before nodding toward the stairs...."You should get the child." Her voice slightly altered due to the synthesizer in her mask, but her tone clearly soft and shaky. Nervous.

Legion waited for the door to open patiently, anxious at everything going on, at how Azura was acting strange, about the unknown familiarity of this place, knowing how to get in. Everything was beginning to bother him, nothing was what it seemed. None of the things that he had just assumed were turning out to be right. He trusted Azura yes, for the moment at least, but at the same time he didn't know what she was in all of this. He knew that she loved him and wouldn't ever want to hurt him, but at the same time she knew more then he did about himself. He was concerned by that fact that he didn't know things that he was probably supposed to know. It made him question him existence.
But he didn't show any of that. Felt it but it didn't change how he acted, nonchalantly walking through, no change in the way he acted. All this was to him was a mystery to get to the bottom to, one that could only be figured out if he was cool and levelheaded, though that was never a problem for him. And now it never would be.
When the door finally opened he nodded at her words and silently walked into the house as she walked off towards where the "target" was. Legion took a moment to walk around. Everything was dark, but he knew the layout of the place perfectly. As long as he was in the darkness everything was revealed to him. He was a denizen of the dark and so this was home for him. Though as he looked and explored the main rooms he couldn't help but feel a familiarity with this place. Like there was something about this place that he should remember. Like it was so incredibly important.
And then Legion heard a scream, from a woman that wasn't Azura. It was the target. But it made him stop. Not because he was worried about Azura but there was something to that voice. That he knew fit in with the house and its familiarity, he just couldn't place it. He felt a pain in his forearm and felt blood flow freely down from it, not letting out any visible signs of pain but it did hurt like a bitch. Legion moved intently to the room just in time to see Azura knock the woman out cold. He would watch as she began to tie up the woman, to a chair, looking at the woman as Azura did that wondering of the significance of that woman. He didn't know who she was, but there was this familiarity, this knowledge that something about her was important. He just couldn't put his finger on it.
The sound of a baby crying uncontrollably perked his ears up. While he was sure there was something important about that too, what was most concerned about was the noise. They weren't supposed to be here. Would the child alert anyone else? He was first and foremost worried about their objectives, though only Azura knew them at this point. Looking to Azura for guidance, she pointed towards the door and told him to get the child. And though her voice was modified and he didn't need to hear the tone he did. But mostly he felt her nervousness, heard the shakiness in her tone. Something was not right about this. But still, he couldn't place his finger on it, so he'd have to trust her.
Nodding he'd move to the door and ascend the staircase after opening. the cries only getting louder as he got closer to his target. The child's room once again striking this sense of familiarity in him. The child however exacerbated that problem, ever so much. As he walked to the crib and picked the child up in his arms. Shushing her quietly and holding her like a pro even though he had never remembered doing this before. Looking at her golden eyes as he did, and feeling some sort of a connection to her, though it was dampened significantly. That had him pause for a moment as he held the child in his arms. Wondering exactly what was going on.
Eventually though he'd slowly move down the stairs and look at Azura, confusion in his eyes, american accent that he had taken up as if he had never had another, "What's going on?"
It was a question that just couldn't wait anymore...

Ruth was crying, knowing that something was wrong and unable to process what to do with it. Tears streaked down her face as she sniffled and whimpered, little hands grasping the bars of her crib as she tried to pull herself upward to stand. She had yet to master that, and as a result she would face plant into the mattress, only to cry harder as she shoved herself up to sit.
However, when the figure came through the doorway, she would look up, the crying seeming to slow, but still her lower lip jutting out as she whimpered and sniffled all the more. Another attempt to stand only to fail once more, though this time captured within those large hands that she herself knew all too well. Eyes, which had been blue since the day her Daddy had disappeared would turn golden as she laid within his arms, looking up at him with tear filled eyes. Her red hair a mess about her little face, and the fuzzy, footy pajamas she wore wet from her slobber and tears.
She felt him move, even as he looked down at her, carrying her down the stairs and toward Mommy's room. Though it wasn't until he spoke once they were down there that she would reach up with two little hands and make little grabby motions for him. "Da-Da!" The words a bit shaky...a bit fumbled, but they were spoken just the same. The first to ever leave her lips and soon enough were followed by a soft giggle. One little wet, slobbered on hand patting his cheek while the other rubbed her tired little eyes slowly and roughly.
In the chair across the room, Kazumi would begin to wake, her head throbbing and a struggle to try and remember what had happened. Yet when she heard that little voice cry out from across the room, she gasped, head shooting up despite the overwhelming dizziness it caused and looking around for her daughter...the last memory she had being of that fucking bitch in black who's blood still tainted her lips.
What she saw though...as her eyes fell upon the spot where she had heard Ruth...was enough to stop her heart dead within her chest. She couldn't breath, she couldn't think...she just shook her head as black eyes filled with tears. Oh she knew that bitch was here....she could feel her somewhere behind her....but she didn't care....Right now, all she could think about was him...Still, it wasn't him. She didn't need to talk to him to know that...she could feel it. He was still lacking...despite being right in front of her, and inside, something died. "Patrick...." Barely able to get the name out as she wanted so badly to .....collapse. Months of looking, of trying to find him...and now here he was, standing right in front of her and looking at her with absolutely no recognition in his gaze.
From behind her, a voice would rise to fill the silence, Azura having been standing there silent the entire time. Tears filling her eyes at both the confusion she kept thrusting upon him, and at the fact that he was unaware, completely, of who these two were. It broke her heart and she didn't know how to make it right other than to do this...a little whimper being forced back as she had to force herself to hold her ground even though her heart was breaking....All she wanted to do was go to him...to make it go away...to make it better and to be with him..and just him for the rest of her life. But she could not...she had promised this.
"I p..promised you...the day we met, that I would not let you forget where you came from. I would not let you forget them. I would help you remember....so that is what I am doing. That is your child....this....i..is your wife." Motioning to the girl in the chair, tears spilling down her own face now as she felt as though she was dying...No...dying would hurt less than this...She knew, that she was quite possibly opening herself up to losing him...and it hurt, so unbelievably much...but she could not stop. She owed him this much....at least.

As he approached the child Legion watched her try and stand up a few times, only to fall down, he would notice her crying slowing down. While he would still pick her up, and shush her, everything only added to his confusion. Looking down into her eyes, he watched them change to that golden color, a color his eyes changed to occasionally, but not for the same reasons. She did not want to kill him. Legion knew that much, in fact it appeared as if she was calming down. But why? She should be crying harder now that a strange man was picking her up, right? What exactly had happened to him before he didn't remember anything? Legion was still close enough to Azura to not get too upset about this, though the confusion was troubling.
So thoroughly confused he would walk down the stairs, holding the child in his arms, noting that she had red hair as well. But it was all just coincidence right? It had to be. He didn't really know what conclusions he was making, all he knew were the facts, but without memories to organize the facts, they could only be coincidences. At least that seemed logical.
After he asked his question though he felt the baby girl shifting in his arms. Reaching for something. He looked down only to find out that it was him. He looked down at her as she let those two words out of her mouth, knowing that they were meant for him. Watching her giggle as he felt a soft hand of her patting him on the cheek, wet from her tears and slobber, while he saw her rub her eyes with her free hand. No, she was wrong. Legion shook his head slowly, that couldn't be right. right? But before Legion had any time to say anything or contemplate everything that gasp shot his gaze up. The woman was awake.
The woman's eyes on him he looked on curiously. Yes, he knew she was important, just not how important. She seemed to think that he was pretty important too. Though, she seemed to recognize him, where as he did not. She seemed to be shocked at the sight of him, tears filling her eyes. That was was interesting, that he didn't remember her. His memory only spanned a few months. But his memory started when he was born, right? How was a demon born? Or now he was wondering if he should be asking when was a demon made?
Though there was something wrong with her. Or with him. Hearing that name come from her lips. He could only assume that it was his, or at least what she thought his name was. He slowly and confusedly shook his head.
"My name is," Legion said, finishing his statement as more of a question, "Legion?"
His eyes moving to Azura, questioningly as he asked that question. A distinct urge to tug on that collar. rising now. Feeling her pain, her heart breaking, it causing him to feel significant discomfort and increase his own confusion. Knowing that she thought she was going to be losing him. So that had to be important right? When those words finally rolled out of her mouth he frowned.
He didn't know how to take this. He didn't remember any of this. You'd think you'd remember having a wife and a child right? But then again there were so many glaring similarities. Feeling her pain as if it was his own made him know that she wasn't lying. Bit he didn't remember.
"But," he sighed heavily, "I don't remember any of that. I'd remember if she was my wife right? And she was my daughter?"
It's not that Legion didn't trust her. It was just that to build those relationships that took time right? He didn't remember anything. These were long and important relationships. He looked down at Ruth again and her red hair, her golden eyes. This was confusing, and now with Azura's emotions painful. There were so many similarities, and at the same time, he didn't remember anything about her about his wife...
What was going on?

Kaz felt her heart breaking as he spoke his name, barely even hearing the woman behind her when she spoke, too focused upon her husband and her baby that he held within his arms. Legion he had said, but that was not his name....no...his name was Patrick O'Connor and he was her husband....the Father of her child. A soft sob released as she bit her lower lip, fangs piercing her flesh, though she paid them no mind, gently shaking her head. "No baby...Y..Your name is Patrick...Patrick O'Connor and that is your daughter...Ruth O'Connor..." She whimpered softly, struggling to get free of her restraints, to get to him. to touch him. "I...I am your wife....Kazumi." She could barely get the words out, tears spilling down her face as she jerked harder at the ties that held her to the chair.
Frustration mounting she would shoot a look over her shoulder to the girl in black, hissing as she narrowed her dark eyes and growled forth her words. "What did you do to him you fucking bitch!? Let me go right now!" Another jerk of her wrists against those ties, the plastic zip ties cutting into her flesh with the sheer force with which she jerked. And then....to her amazement, the girl would nod and lean down, a single digit coming forth to snap the ties and in turn free Kazumi.
So stunned she was, that she didn't move at first, just sat there as the woman undid her feet and watched her with confusion in her eyes.
Across the room, Ruth would giggle once more, wiggling about within her Father's arms as happy as she had been in months, happier even. Her little hands clapping softly before they would press together.....a moment later, a flower seeming to spring out of nowhere. Big bright eyes looking up to him, she would smile a toothless little smile and then hold the flower up, trying to give it to him and hitting him in the face in the process. "Da-Da!" Another little giggle, waiting for him to take it.
If he did, she would coo happily, if he did not, well she would pout a little and drop it to the floor. Though seemingly forgetting about it almost instantly as she would reach up and make grabby hand gestures toward him once more. "Da-da pway!" Her little feet kicking slightly as she would manage to wiggle herself into a seated position and begin patting his cheeks playfully. Her giggles seeming to light up the room despite the fact that there was so much sadness and confusion all around.
By this time, Kazumi would have managed to crawl out of her chair, standing there and watching the two, silent for the longest time. Eventually though, her voice would break through the silence on that side of the room, her hands shaking as bits of blood ran down her hands from her wrists. "Sh..She has missed you...So much. She...She hasn't spoken a word until now..." She spoke softly, wanting to remain calm, even though she wanted so badly to kill that bitch behind her.
Stepping forward, she would fold her arms over her chest, hugging herself as she moved closer...almost timidly, the black fading from her eyes and a bright, oceanic, hypnotic blue color would take its place. That naive, gentle look she held so many times with him and only with him coming to her gaze as she shivered softly with the flood of emotions she felt. "W..We have both missed you...I looked everywhere...I tried so...so hard to find you...They took you from us, at the school. You fought her in the gym and she took you...." A little whimper, stopping directly in front of him now as she looked up at him, almost innocently.
Very slowly, unsure how he would react, she would raise her hand...looking at him rather intently. Then, if he would allow it, her little fingers would slowly trace along that scar on his face, the same way she had done hundreds of times before...just as gentle and full of love and affection as it had been the first time she did it. "M..Mine?" She whimpered the word forth in that thick Italian accent...uncertain if it still held true...though moving her free hand to sweep back her hair to expose that scar upon her neck...the one he had made...the one he had bitten night after night...His mark....One she had never allowed another to touch...
Meanwhile....within his arms, a beep would rise up from where the baby was currently seated. Her little hands clasping a cell phone now as she fidgeted with the buttons, cooing to herself rather softly at the sounds the phone made when she pushed them. A little giggle when the screen changed...amused at the fact she could do that. As for who's phone it was? Well, that was easy. It was her Daddy's and she had stolen it....flawlessly.

Once she had released the girl, she would stumble back into the wall, catching herself and actually curling up there, her hand softly rubbing the center of her chest as she tried so hard not to fall apart right then and there. If she did, Legion would break in some way, and given his dark nature, it would not be good. So desperately she wanted to leave, to run away...the first time in her life, save for her wish to escape the facility, that she had ever felt that way. But again, she could not. She did not wish to allow his demon free right now. She knew it could end badly if he did not know who these people were just yet.
Biting her lower lip behind her mask, tears steadily streamed down her face, and then...as she knew it would...the truth about that day at the gym came forth. Her head lowering as whatever was left of her heart shattered and she was forced to grab the wall to keep from falling to her knees. "It...is true..." She knew the question would come and so she answered, saving him the trouble. Though it was clear that she was barely able to get the words out. "I...did not know that they would do this to you. I never would have....I...I didn't think..." She didn't know how to explain because nothing she said, no amount of apologizing or regret, which she felt so much of, could allow for forgiveness. She did not deserve his forgiveness and would understand if he walked away...if he allowed her to be killed and held in that state...if he just....forgot about her to the best of his ability.
Choking back a whimper, she would slowly push herself away from the wall, barely able to move....not even feeling her feet against the floor anymore. "I am sorry...th..that I cannot leave. I must keep the demon away." She choked on her words as another sob threatened to escape. Her guilt overwhelming her, crippling her. She was trembling. She was broken and in that moment, the thought of dying seemed so very appealing. Anything to not feel this way anymore. Yet, she would stay and she would suffer this emotional abuse, suffer the fear and the uncertainty, the pain....anything to grant him his memories, to allow him to try and recapture that one thing she had unknowingly stolen from him.
