Father jostled quickly through the halls with a perverse smile and a determined stare proceeding all the more with haste til making it to Azura's private little stead his features immediately melting away at the glimpse of her. Those shuffled steps slowing now as sure that each one of them would shatter the very essence of the scene. Like a mosaic she was rendered helpless against the cold restraints of the table, her dampened facade bringing more attention of that light to her face enough that the Doctor could be so privileged to share a tear of his own.
"Now now, no need to cry."
A somber hand trailing up to her cheek wiping away the tear and caressing her cheek with an affection border-lining creepy. However he'd trail the length of her cheek before retrieving the hand and quickly masking it in a towel sure to clean every portion of it despite the minimalism of the effort.
"You're truly concerned for this boy. Tsk tsk." Pursed lips and an irritated look crossing his features as the doctor turned to the corner wall pitching the volume of the screams of pain upwards. "Now that surely won't do."
Flitting once more Father consoled a corner wall drawing forth a long vial and a pair of pliers. "Do you know how the healers of old used to sort out problems of the mind?" A very serious demeanor neither joking nor cruel appeared on his facade slowly unscrewing the vial and studying it carefully.

She would hear the door open and eyes would shift upward to see him as he entered. Instantly she felt her heart seize within her chest, breath lodged in her throat as he drew closer, watching his features melt into something she was far more used to. Something that scared her far more than the look he had held only seconds ago.
As he approached, she would try her best to refrain from lifting her eyes to his, but as his hand fell upon her cheek wiping away that tear, she would have no choice but to turn attention his way. A soft whimper given as her lower lip trembled. He was still Father to her, the only one she had ever known, and though he terrified her, she still had that childlike ideology of him that clung to the farther recesses of her mind. "Father please..." She did not dare comment on her concerns for Cael, the disapproval in her Father's eyes enough to stay her tongue on that matter.
Besides, it did not take a genius, which he surely was, to figure out that she cared for the boy in the other room, the tears in her eyes and the utterly sick and unnerved look she held clue enough. Every scream of pain getting a wince or a soft sob from her as she struggled to not let it tear her apart from the inside out.
Yet, everything around her seemed to come to a dead stop as his tone changed and he began to gather things from the other area of the room. Eyes falling upon the instruments he held, and her head shaking back and forth quickly. "Father please! I had thought you dead!" A soft sob as her lower lip trembled, more tears falling, her wings instinctively folding into her back that much tighter, fear of that pain so very real in her mind. "I am sorry Father...So very sorry." Barely able to get the words out through the cries which choked her with every single breath. Entire body trembling as she now watched him with increasing concern and fear.

That wasn't what he'd asked for... A disapproving look shifted to his features slowly tsking his lips lightly before plunging the pliers into the vial and drawing forth something horiffic. Large leeches, now these weren't your normal leeches, they were genetically engineered to draw much more pain from their victim as they sapped away blood.
"On the contrary dear. I'm very much alive."
The pliers would draw the leeches to the girl's forehead pressed there where her temples were. To any other person Father would be immediately concerned knowing that the temples were large blood pools and would almost instantly be killed. Azura on the other hand, would be in incredible pain trying to recover.
"I had intended using these on that Kazumi girl. But I suppose you'll be our test subject for that little vamp-girl."
A slight motion of approval on his face nodding solumnly on his features as the doctor moved a chair and pulled out a small notepade from his coat pocket sure to take into consideration the nasty little side-effects.

Hazel eyes grew bigger at the sight of what he pulled free from that vial, a little yelp muffled by the choked wound escaping her throat as her tears and saliva caught up at the back of her tongue and lodged there...causing her to cough and struggle to breath. Quickly her hands would jerk against the restraints that much harder, ignoring the pain as they ripped into her flesh, knowing that they would soon heal anyway now that Legion had his own self back on track, wherever he was.
Tears rolling down her pale cheeks, through the splatters of blood that came from one of her many victims prior to being captured, she would shake her head, trying desperately to think of something, anything to say. "They told me you had died...I had no way of knowing." She whimpered, not knowing what he wanted to hear, desperate to stop this. Any time they experimented on her in the lab at The Facility she could handle it, to a point. But no matter how much she feared the man before her, he was the one who had raised her, the only constant in her life...and the idea of angering him to the point he would test his own personal experiments on her was shattering.
Yet he came closer and eventually pressed that thing to her head. The pain, it was instant and brought about a soft cry as her eyes clamped shut and she jerked harder at the restraints...blood dripping from her fingers as tears rolled down her face. The pain hit, and it hit hard....but then...it was gone. The pain on her wrists healing as well as the blood dried up and the wounds disappeared. She knew what it was, and yet, at the same time, her eyes would open to look at Father with more fear than before.
If anyone knew her inside and out it was the man who had created her, and healing was not her ability, not until she had died first. Swallowing hard, she would wince as again the pain in her head started...only to cease. Apparently, wherever Legion was, he was trying to stop what was happening, at least to some degree. Only a few soft winces here and there given, which for her, the one that could not handle even the slightest amount of pain and who usually took three times longer than a normal person to heal from the smallest cut...it was odd. Very odd. Though she kept her mouth shut, not drawing attention to anything she did not have to.

Etches made against the notepad as studious father paid close mind to the effects of the leeches more than anything noting that the amount of blood was perhaps a bit too high and they needed to scale back or perhaps that was a measure of the trauma that Azura was having. Hmmm... Odd. His eyes did a once over seeing the leeches having a hard time with their destined job. Moving the pencil between his lips Father would bite down hard snapping it.
"What is this?"
Rising from his seat he'd just as quickly shuffle the leeches back into their jar looking over Azura and seeing the wounds close almost instantly. His... His... HIS AZURA being taken advantage of!
A quick wrap of his kuckles across her face waiting to let his anger peak, flushed cheeks and red in the face the doctor was not amused. "what is this tripe?"
His eyes studiously surveyed her quickly taking note of a few things before waiting a beat for her to respond. If she did not respond in a timely manner Father would grab the nearest utensil, in this case being a rather blunt cutting device, and ram it into her abdomen piercing her flesh to draw out a response.

The sound of the pencil snapping would draw her eyes to his once more. She could tell just by the feel of the air around them that he was beyond angry, and with big, innocent eyes she would look up at him with fresh tears flowing down her cheeks. Shaking her head, she would open her mouth to speak, only to find that she could not. Lower lip trembling with effort, though over all she fell short with just a simple squeak of nothingness.
Feeling his knuckles against her cheek, she would close her eyes, trying hard to maintain some sense of calm, though after the last time he had punished her, she found the idea of such rather impossible...at best. The question came again, and again her eyes would open to look at him, only she could not form the words. She knew the answer, just as she knew that it was not her fault, but every time she tried to speak it just failed her...over and over again.
A swift movement from him, bringing the scalpel into her abdomen being what finally jarred the words forth from her throat. "They appointed Doctor Cole in your stead! He...He instructed me to acquire a target, and I did. Just as you had taught me! I completed the mission Father!"
She would whimper softly, coughing and struggling through the pain as blood poured down her stomach and over her leg....trembling harder than before, and yet unable to look at him now. Her head down, a silent plea for his favor, though she feared she would find none. "I did not know what he had planned! I was told differently! And then, by the time I found out, it was too late! He had bound me to the target and now...now..." She fell silent as she yelped in pain and lowered her head all the more, yet her arms jerked at the restraints...."Our life forces are bound together..." Barely muttering the words, her hands balling into fists as she awaited his rage.

Hmph, Dr. Cole, that imputent leech. Playing with the scalpel between his grip Father would only retrieve it with a sharp jerk of his forearm pulling it back and held close to his chest as he'd hear her out entirely.
"This simply will not do."
Pursed lips of irritation were shown on his hues managing to tuck away the scalpel and press it aside on the table before glimpsing back rather peeved. The other experiment. It was a failure was it not? Still curiosity got the better of Father.
Popping a small lever on his watch the top would pop on it revealing a small vial. A very personal vial. Hmm to think this would mean he'd need a lacky to... wait. Rather than a lacky, perhaps he needed a test. A grin curled up slowly to his features making him feel all too empowered, all too cruel.
"And who exactly is this target?"
The doctor would compliment, coming slowly to sit beside her running a calm, reassuring hand over her cheek once again like the doting father.

She would yelp as the scalpel was jerked from inside of her...though soon enough the wound would heal itself, or more like Legion would heal himself wherever he was. Her lower lip trembling, she would sniffle softly, not daring to speak up in regards to his first words, knowing that they were not meant to be replied to.
Instead, she would remain silent, tears flowing down her face as she cried softly, her head lowered as she simply waited for what was to come. Only a glimpse caught of that vial he now held before he would move to sit beside her, his hand softly and reassuring caressing her cheek. This time, she was all too willing to surrender to the familiarity of his touch, leaning into it as she closed her eyes and softly nuzzled against his fingers.
As much as she feared him...she could not shake the fact that in her mind, for as long as she could remember being alive, he had been her Father. All his quirks normal behavior to her, in a certain way. When that question came forth, she would pause...only for a moment. "Patrick O'Connor. Kazumi's husband..." She spoke in a soft, weak tone...reluctant to deliver the information, but bound by what she was to tell the truth....incapable of lying.
As she gave a soft whimper, she would tremble a bit more and simply resume nuzzling into his touch. Uncertain of what else to do, other than to resort to the only thing she had ever known....Which...was him.

Father would flinch noteably and grow a certain bit more irritated. That invalid whom had shot him? Gripping tight palms into fists Father would start to rethink his idea momentarily before... Yes that was a good change of pace. Turn two of these subjects against one another. Violent, brutal, monsters in their own rights. But the Doctor had yet another ideal, he was going to get back to his esteemed position by proving to them what perfection really was.
"Hmm sit still, this shouldn't take too very long."
Through slitted eyes the doctor grew mischevious, his stature turning to a slink as though there was some benevolent agenda proding at the corners of his mind. That very same slink carried him back out of her room to transition back to where his plot would unravel. Or rather his vengeance would be born.

The pain had been so intense Cael passed out for a moment, there was a part of him that was dead inside, moreso than usual he recognised that much as he slowly awakened a new sort of appearance to himself. Noteably taller and buffer, but something still lingered behind his eyes. True there was a measure of strength be it mental or determined but all the same something in Cael was unhinged.

Fingers slowly wrapping about one another he would hurry his way into the room, that devious grin and mischievous look not having faded as he left Azura to return to the boy he had left strapped to the wall. His tongue flitting across his lips, he would chuckle softly, rather amused with himself and his ideas as he entered the room.
This was a very interesting turn of events. Those idiots had thought him crazy, had thought his experiments and obsessions with the Kevala woman and her children excessive. They had told him that he would never succeed in creating the perfect being, the ideal specimen...even when he had come so very close with Azura and Alek. But now, well now he had the means to prove to them wrong, to prove to them what kind of fools they had been by turning their backs on him.
Coming toward Cael, a single, cold hand would reach out and grasp the boy's chin, gripping him tightly to turn his face toward him so that he could get a better look at him. Eyeing him to ensure that he was holding up alright, now intent upon turning this one into the very thing his Father had kept him from creating all those years ago.
"I have great plans for you young man."
A grin upon his lips, he would release his chin and step back, snapping his fingers to summon forth his little lacky.
"Bring me everything for Experiment X-Seventeen."
His mind working a mile a minute, words rattling off as he went about fully preparing himself.
"I see now why she took such a fancy to you. You will be my greatest achievement yet and make up for the blunder that occurred when your Father got his hands on my precious Kevala. Turning me into the laughing stalk of my peers."
Humming to himself and glancing up as the other doctor rushed back in, box in hand. It was only a simple series of injections. A simple matter of breaking him down and then turning him loose. Nothing fancy, just plain and simple destruction upon those who would oppose him, who would laugh at him.
"I am going to give you a new lease on life. You just need to do a few things for me in return."
Turning back to the boy, he would step closer, those eyes locking upon his.
"You want to be a God, well then, let us see what we can do about making that happen."
Quickly turning back around to prepare everything he would need.

Guided by a spectral hand Cael would stay silent, his eyes still adjusting, still wavering between that blackened world of the beyond and this one now. A matter still needed to be concluded, he needed to understand what had changed in himself.
"Alpha..." Cael would mutter under his breath. He was no weakling subject, he was the Alpha-predator. Licking his lips they'd plumped to the touch still narrowing his eyes like the hunter surveying the room, managing to bypass the doctor entirely. He wasn't tired, wasn't in pain.
"I'm the Alpha predator."
His eyes narrowed once more shooting daggers at the doctor threateningly, a part of him still with the conversation but yet another distant, off in another world. Arms flexed against the restraints knowing they were unbreakable just yet but still testing them all the same.

He would grin widely. Oh, this was too perfect. the darkness was in this one, he could sense it as sure as he could feel that light that surrounded his precious Azura. Though, there was still a bit of work to be done, just a few matters to tie up, to ensure that he was everything that he as capable of becoming.
"Indeed you are."
Hand moving to the box, he would gather up the two injections that were required to complete the entire transformation. That pathetic mule Dr. Cole had no idea what he was doing by taking on a project that he had yet to perfect. This, this was the intended outcome, and yet the fool had thought to screw around with his own formula and change it...create his own monster. Well, there could only be one monster in this city, and Father was going to be certain that he had the biggest and the baddest.
Stepping forward, it was a simple matter of two quick injections. They would have little affect right now, though over the next twenty four hours, they would blend in his blood stream with the other toxin, to open up his true potential and to create the ultimate being. The perfection of all his years hard work.
Once done, he would throw the syringe aside and then force the boy to look at him once more. Making sure that there was no nonsense in his tone when he spoke. He wanted to make sure that this last bit got through, or else they could have a very real problem on their hands.
"That device I implanted in you, is set to fry your little mind should you try to remove it without the proper tool, or should you attempt to kill me. Keep these two things in mind, and I can promise that we will not have a problem."
Stepping back, he would look over the boy once more, motioning for his little lacky to come forth.
"Bring him some clothes...leave them there and then get out."
The man nodding and then rushing off, he would stand in silence for a moment before again speaking.
"There is a single threat that stands against you. One Patrick O'Connor. I believe he is married to your darling cousin Kazumi, is he not? He will attempt to eliminate you, so I highly suggest that you do so first. Of course, you will need this to do it..."
A single vial set down upon the table, complete with the device to inject it. The very thing that would break that stupid bond that he had with Azura, and free his precious angel from whatever nonsense Cole had done to her. Not sure if the boy would take his warning, and knowing that it was likely he would not...a back up plan already in the works. As always.
With that, he would step away and turn to move toward a series of switches that rested upon the wall to the far right. Once the clothing had been brought and the room was cleared, only then would he flip the switches that held the restraints in place, allowing them to fall away...allowing the boy to collapse to the floor. The door to the room then unlocking and popping open...allowing him his exit, though as for the doctor and his precious daughter...they would be staying for now.
After all, they had a lot of catching up to do. [/font]

The two injections would hit their mark this time not drawing a reaction from Cael, he was far too focused to be distracted by the little pin-prick in his side.
"You will die..."
Cael said with a little snicker in his voice. Stronger now, and he had no intention of giving this little gift back much less thinking of this doctor as his creator. Merely a means to an end, while he couldn't quite kill the man just yet, there would be time for that later. Narrowing his hues he'd study the male over. Tsk tsk. He really had no tact for strategy. An idea began formulating in the back of Cael's mind and the monster within him fed on it. Yes. Imortality awaited, God-like strength, just a skip away.
With the locks removed however Cael would drop to the floor. Letting his body get used to the changes, it'd take awhile. All the same he grasped at the doctor's little vial sure it would come in handy at some point. Yes this was the beginning of his own little game.
