(OOC: Ki Yong) It was currently mid afternoon in "The Big Apple," and while most of the people walking through the park looked like they knew exactly where they were going, one face in particular stood out in the crowd. Peering around at the various buildings, his hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket, Seung-Kyun was looking around the park, taking in the new sights and sounds of the city he and his two older twin siblings, Seungho and Seungyeon, had moved to. Though for some reason, most of the people he passed by gave him a rather quizzical look, he had no doubt it wasn't because he was looking around like a tourist, but because of his puppy, Hwan, who was currently sitting inside Seung-Kyun's hoodie, his head and front paws sticking out through the opening of the jacket. But, it didn't matter to him, Seung-Kyun loved the little guy, just as much, if not more, than his older twin brother and sister, and he wasn't about to lift his puppy out of his jacket and let him walk by himself, especially in a new environment, just because people looked at him funny. Pulling one hand out as Seung-Kyun rubbed the top of Hwan's head, his puppy panting happily, unfortunately, he had been concentrating more on his puppy and hadn't been watching where he was going, resulting in his shoulder colliding with someone walking in the opposite direction. "What the...? Oh, my bad, sorry about that."

[teal] [/url] and I might have looked like a dick. - Whether or not I did probably wouldn't have been established anyway, I suppose, because I wasn't paying attention and I guess I'd bumped into some guy. I looked at him and he'd said something, but I couldn't hear him, so I removed my earphones and bowed my head.[/ul] [beige]"Mianhae. Uh, sorry, I mean."[/beige]
I felt my apology may have been... redundant. [/teal]

["Huh? Oh, uh, no biggie, but it was my fault in the first place."]
Realizing he had spoken in Korean instinctively the moment he had heard the guy speak a word of Korean, Seung-Kyun would rub the back of his head, his headphones hanging around his neck and connected to his phone in his pocket. Looking slightly sheepish, aside from his older twin brother and sister, he hadn't really expected to run into other Koreans here, to be honest.
His sheepish grin would disappear however, the moment he realized who it was he had collided shoulders with, Kwon Ki Yong, a KPop artist who was just as famous as Seung-Kyun was back home in South Korea. A bit of a blank stare on his face, he would only snap out of his stupor as he felt Hwan fidget slightly to offer his head to Kwon to pet.
"Whoa, you're Kwon Ki Yong, right? Didn't expect to run into you here in New York City."

[beige]"I wasn't expecting to see you here either, EunHan-jeo. Mind the honorific - you think they're necessary when speaking english?"[/beige]

Hwan whining happily as Ki Yong obliged and petted him on the head, the cheerful look would appear back on Seung-Kyun's face as he pulled one hand out and extended it, shaking Yong's hand with a firm grip, nodding back after he had friendly nodded.
"Probably not Ki Yong-jeo, but it never hurts to tack it on if you feel like it."
Letting go of his hand after the handshake, Seung-Kyun would stick his hand back in his jacket pocket, mainly to keep his puppy from falling out through the bottom of his jacket, Hwan panting away happily.
"What brings you to New York City Ki Yong-jeo? Trying to get away from your popularity like I wanted to? Seungho and Seungyeon are gonna flip when they hear this... Is it just you here though? Oh, this is my, well, mine and my siblings puppy, Hwan."
[HWAN]: "Ruff!"
Translation: Hi!

[beige]"Pretty much. Father told me no at first, but eventually he succumbed. Funnily enough it wasn't a problem with the fangirls, it was the fanboys of some other chick. I don't remember her name, but she was a popular trainee."[/beige]
Again, I laugh a little bit. I'm trying not to sound like an ass.
[beige]"Ultimately though it was the fame I guess."[/beige] [beige]"It's not just me. I've got my big brother and my sisters here with me. They all wanted to make the move, too, but my parents stayed in Seoul."[/beige]
And I got a bit of an idea. Maybe a little forward, but the guy was friendly enough.
[beige]"Why not not tell them I'm here, and then you introduce me one day? And I'll show you to my family. I don't wanna sound like a creep or anything, but I know my little sister idolizes you, Jeo."[/beige] [/teal]

"Angry fanboys huh? I hear you on that broski, I know that feeling. Sounds like we both just wanted to have a normal life without having to run from fangirls like our lives depended on it. "
Laughing a little bit, unlike Ki Yong, Seung-Kyun and his siblings could afford to have a puppy because any time of day, at least one of them would be home to look after Hwan, and the little guy loved them all equally, Seung-Kyun just happened to spend a bit more time looking after the jindo puppy.
"Sweet bro, nice to hear your siblings are here. My parents are back home in Seoul too, the record label and all."
Taken slightly aback not by Yong wanting Seung-Kyun to not tell his siblings that he was in New York City, but by the fact Yong's little sister idolized him, Seung-Kyun would nod his head in understanding. It was a fair request, and he would honor that.
"Sure, no problem, I won't tell them you're in town. But uh, about seeing your family. I'm kinda curious, when should I met the family, especially your younger sister?"
It'd be kinda out of left field for him to just suddenly pop up at their doorstep after only just meeting Ki Yong, despite his name being known by practically every teenage girl and guy in Seoul.
"C'mon bro, let's go grab something to eat, and we can talk more. I've been trying to find a Korean restaurant to grab something to eat, but we can always go for fast food. You down?"

[beige]"We'll work out a schedule for it all. Let's get to know each other pretty well first, and then in a week or two we can show up and our families will be like "Woah!" It'll be pretty awesome."[/beige] [beige]"Oh, absolutely! You pick the place, I'll pay. I insist. Besides, I eat a lot anyway."[/beige]
That wouldn't have had any relevance if it wasn't an implication that he'd have to pay otherwise. Which he wouldn't. But still.
[beige]"There's like a fast food store at every second building."[/beige]
That's the U.S. for you. Fat people. [/teal]

More than likely, Seung-Kyun's father was probably friends with Ki Yong's father, if anything, given that they were both the same age, their fathers probably went through elementary and high school together, though Seung-Kyun didn't exactly know himself, as he never really bothered asking his father about his school life, Seungho might know, but that was a pretty big if.
What he did know was his father had in fact, done business with KS Entertainment and scouting potential trainees before, Seung-Kyun, along with Seungho and Seungyeon, had been asked by their father to help out with training some of the talent he had discovered.
"Hell yeah broski, I'm cool with that. After all, all we've got right now is a business friendship."
Holding his fist out for a fist bump, Seung-Kyun would grin cheerfully at Ki Yong, fast food it was then! Nothing like some chicken nuggets and curly fries, or in Yong's case, a cheeseburger. Traditional Korean food stuffs were good, but this wasn't South Korea. And while there were burger places in South Korea, you just can't beat the ones in North America, more choices after all.
"Sweet bro! I know a burger joint that'll knock your socks off, but uh, are you sure? I eat a lot too you know, but if you insist..."
How did Seung-Kyun know a burger joint when he only arrived in New York City no less than a day ago? Simple, he had asked the flight attendant if she knew any good burger joints on the way to New York City, duh. Seung-Kyun was still a little unsure about letting Ki Yong pay, but if the guy insisted, who was he to refuse?
"True that though, gotta hand it to the Americans, they sure made finding a burger joint easy to find, but I'm starving bro."
Grinning at Ki Yong, Seung-Kyun would lift one arm up and point his index finger in the direction of the place, Phoenix Wright style.
"Let's ride!"

[teal] [beige]"I could go to a buffet and get about ten full plates of steak and keep goin', man."[/beige]
I need me some protein and stuff.
About here is where I insert a travel sequence. Bjjjjjeeeuooooow [beige]"I'll take ten cheeseburgers, five large fries, ten hot n' spicies, and, uh. Another cheeseburger, and a large soda. What about you, dood?"[/beige]
Would he be surprised?! [/teal]

"Dammmn bro, that's a lot of protein. Do cows run away in fear every time they see you coming?"
Cracking a wise-guy grin at Ki Yong after the guy returned his fist bump, which was probably something he never did before, and walked over to Seung-Kyun, they'd head off to the burger joint, Hwan happily tagging along for the ride.
Fast forward to the burger joint, Seung-Kyun would lift Hwan out of his jacket and carry his puppy in his arms, following after Ki Yong into the building. Stopping at the counter, while the cashier was probably dumbfounded by Ki Yong's order, Seung-Kyun was pretty unfazed by it.
"I'll have 30 pieces of chicken nuggets, two orders of curly fries, and a root beer float."
Not quite as astounding as Ki Yong's order, but still a pretty decent amount of food. While he waited for his food, Seung-Kyun casually looked around, not really expecting to see anyone he or Ki Yong knew here, simply because he knew both his siblings were out at the mall, or working. Ki Yong on the other hand... Who knows? Because I don't, seriously...

[teal] I love booths.
[beige]"Dude, you sure you don't have a problem with anorexia? I mean, I know a guy you can talk to about that. Great counselor."[/beige] [beige]"So, you got any new ideas for your comeback?"[/beige]
Talkin' music. Yeah. [/teal]

Seeing Ki Yong look at him with a raised eyebrow and a grin on his face, Seung-Kyun would look back at him like he was crazy or something. Small order or not, despite Seung-Kyun having a super high metabolism, even he couldn't eat as much food as Ki Yong had ordered. With Ki Yong ponying up the cash for their food, the two of them would heard over to a booth... well, more like Ki Yong ushering Seung-Kyun to a booth, he had no say in the seating arrangement.
"Oh shut up Jeo, not all of us have a crazy high metabolism like you do."
Seung-Kyun answered good-naturedly, giving his buddy the joking middle finger of justice as Ki Yong punched him playfully in the arm, Seung-Kyun wasn't a prick that was easily set off by every little thing after all. Just like Ki Yong, Seung-Kyun noticed the lady staring at the two of them, but as he did not recognize her, he simply shrugged it off.
"Huh? I waf finkin' uff collabrratin' wif somon."
With a mouthful of curly fries and chicken nuggets dipped in honey mustard sauce, it would be a tad hard for Ki Yong to make out what Seung-Kyun had said, but nothing totally garbled and hard to understand. Swallowing his food, Seung-Kyun would take a swig of his root beer float before continuing on.
"What about you broski? You have any new ideas for your big comeback?"

[beige]"What."[/beige]
[teal]It wasn't a question.
It was a statement. [beige]"Oh, y'know, nothing really. I mean, a collaboration would be nice and all, but just who would actually work with me for their comeback, too?"[/beige] [/teal]

"You heard me broski."
Keeping just as much of a straight face as Ki Yong was, if not more, while Ki Yong pondered, or in this case, stalled, on his answer, Seung-Kyun sipped on his root beer float while Hwan had curled up and was currently snoozing away contently on his lap.
"... You're kidding me, right Jeo? Who would actually work with you? Who WOULDN'T want to work with you!?"
Seung-Kyun would just stare at Ki Yong. And stare, and stare some more. He had gotten the hint, but it didn't mean he couldn't poke fun at the guy. Just as Ki Yong had heard some of his stuff, Seung-Kyun had listened to some of his stuff too, the guy had some awesome rapping skills, not to mention one hell of a singing voice.
"I know I'd love to work with you. Whatcha say Jeo? With the two of us working together, we'd make the biggest comeback wave this world has ever seen!"
He still didn't know who the girl staring at them was though, and honestly, unless Ki Yong knew her, he was a little occupied with more important matters.
"Hell, between the two of us and our respective record labels, if we can find three more members, we'd have a potential boy band in the making."
