Patrick & Kazumi's Personal Stuff A Little Note: This is quite simply a thread in which to keep track of all things that have to do with Patrick & Kazumi's lives as a couple. Basically anything that falls under "shared" information between the two can be found here. The Basic Floor Plan Of The House Description: This is the basic floor plan of the house that Kazumi and Patrick currently live in, as far at the main level of the house goes. There is also an attic (which will be described further down) and a basement (also will be described further down). There is also a patio type area directly outside of the Master bedroom which was added on recently during Kazumi's little designing spree. However, this is mostly to give a general idea of what the layout to the inside of the house is like. Pretty much, it is a small, quaint little house. Nothing too overly extravagant and yet not a shoe box either. The layout, as you can see, is pretty simple, which is good, considering the fact that for now, they don't really want anything over the top fancy. They much prefer a more down to Earth, simple design that allows for there to be a much homier feel to it. In other words, it is big enough for them and the child that they are expecting, as well as any guest that might show up. (Keeping in mind the attic and the basement.)

The Outside Of The House Description:: From the outside, their house appears a bit bigger than it actually is, as is the case with most homes in this day and age. However, that aside, it is a very lovely somewhat typical American home. Located in a quiet little suburb just outside of New York City, it has a very inviting, almost welcoming feel to it. The front yard is pretty simple, with only a few trees planted for decoration (which was there before the house was bought) and a nice little shrub garden that follows along the porch. Other than that, there is nothing too remarkable about the front of the house due to the fact that both Patrick and Kazumi tend to like to keep things simple as to avoid drawing attention to themselves. There is also a few chairs and a large wooden swing on the front porch which Kazumi just recently had installed during her little "nesting/remodeling" phase. However, it should be noted that the front yard is set up with motion sensors that can be activated from within the house. Also there are security camera's that are located on each corner of the house, above the garage door, and also directly above the front door itself. (However there are only a handful of people who know about this as they are not easily spotted when looking up at the house.) There is also no fence surrounding the front portion of the yard. The backyard is slightly different however, in that it does have a wooded privacy fence that surrounds the entirety of it. Though, this is typical of homes in this neighborhood due to the fact that usually there are other houses directly next door. (However, as of right now, the suburb itself is still under development so there is only one house next door to their own and it is currently unoccupied.) The landscape of the backyard is very similar to the front however, aside from the fact that directly behind their fence line rests a small wooded area which was left in tact by the developers to give the area more peaceful, quiet feel. There are two patios in the back as well. One located directly off the back door which is open, with no sort of porch or railing surrounding it. There is not much here, other than a simple patio set and a built in fire pit which was built when the house was. The second patio (though it could also be termed a balcony of sorts due to the fact that it is raised off the ground much like the front porch) is off to the side of the house, located directly off of Patrick and Kazumi's bedroom. This one, unlike the first, is closed off...at least partially, by a wood railing which encircles most of it. Here, there are only a set of two chairs and a small table as well as a few potted plants that Kazumi put out there in order to give it a bit more color. As for the yard itself, it is pretty basic. Nothing really to note about it yet, though eventually Kazumi plans to install a child's swing set. At least once their child is old enough to use it. This portion, much like the front is secured with both motion sensors and security cameras. These are located on the corners of the house, directly above the back door and directly above the door that leads to their bedroom.

The Living Room Description:: The first thing most people see when they enter the house is the living room, as is typical really. As with everything else, Kazumi chose to keep this part of the house simple during her remodel. Up until recently, the house, though considered their "home", lacked a real feel of comfort and coziness to it. But then, it had originally been purchased for her to hide out in if things went wrong, no real effort put into make it truly feel like a home. That has changed however, since Kazumi took the time while Patrick was away to redo the entire house. Now, the living room has a very welcoming, comfortable look to it. Nothing fancy, as stated previously, but just a clean, neat little design that makes things feel inviting and warm. She even had a television put in, even though its not plugged in and she has no real intention of using it right away. It was mostly installed for later on when the baby is old enough to start watching television or in case Patrick ever decides he wants to watch something. Also, even though Kazumi is not a huge fan of the light, she opted to leave the windows with a very open feel to them. This is so that the living room feels a bit more expansive and so that the house itself has a much more cheerful, happy mood to it. Her reasoning being quite simple really....She wants a house for her child to grow up in which is similar to the type of house she remembers living in as a child. (Willing to put aside her own fears in order to provide this.) There is not a lot of furniture, but then it is not like a whole lot of people drop by and visit. It is usually just the two of them, and so she has chosen not to overcrowd the living room with too much unnecessary furniture. One large sectional couch and a few end tables as well as a coffee table being all that they really need. As for the decorations on the wall, well she went ahead and handmade colored drawing and paintings and had them framed and hung on the wall. She didn't sign her name, still too shy to let anyone know that they are her own work, but Patrick will know, and that is all that really matters to her.

Dining Room & Kitchen (Dining Room) Description:: The dining room is pretty simple (a reoccurring theme throughout the house) and prior to the remodel, it really didn't exist. It was pretty much just an open space off to the side of the living room and kitchen. Now, with the furniture moved in and the windows having a more open theme to them, it really does have a very quaint yet somewhat elegant feel to it. Admittedly, the dining room and kitchen area received a bit more attention to detail than the living room, but that is simply because cooking and eating have always been a big deal inside the Badoer household and it has clearly carried over into Kazumi and Patrick's house as well. She loves to cook, and though she typically doesn't eat much, that is slowly starting to change as she begins to feel a bit better about herself and starts to feel more comfortable. The kitchen (pictured below), is actually much bigger than the floor plan lets on. Keep in mind however that the floor plan is there simply as a guideline to what the layout of the house is like, the dimensions are not exactly spot on. Therefore, taking that into consideration, it is easy to see why the kitchen appears so big...because it is. In fact, even though the house was supposed to serve as nothing more than a safe house, Kevala (who bought the house) found a house with a big kitchen out of nothing more than habit. Not that Kazumi is complaining, she loves her kitchen, hence the extreme amount of detail that she put into it when remodeling the cabinets and having an island installed. Though, she did try to keep it as simple as possible and not too flashy, knowing that it would throw off the balance of the house and also knowing that it would simply distract from the homey feel that she was going for. BathroomDescription::The bathroom is a very simple, sleek and modern design. Choosing to go with a darker color and a his and her's sink combo. Kazumi feels that this room probably got the least amount of detail from her. Not that she was neglecting it, just that she chose to put more focus onto the rest of the house. However, she did choose to go with a theme that was a bit different from the rest of the house, since mostly everything else is rather cozy and relaxing and the bathroom is much more sleek and modern...(as said before). She just felt that with it being the bathroom, less was more, especially since it is not a very large bathroom to start with and it is the only one in the house.

Master BedroomDescription::The master bedroom is the one room that Kazumi chose to try and make the most relaxing and the most comfortable. This is because, quite honestly, it is the room that they spend the most time in. Not because of the reasons you might think...(pervs) but because they seem to always be so tired after long days at school or whatever, and laying around together is much more appealing than sitting around in the living room. However, this could potentially change due to the fact that now the rest of the house seems more homey and inviting. The decor is pretty basic, a queen size bed, dressers and nightstands. Plus a few other odds and end fixtures. There is also a set of double glass doors which lead out to a private patio/balcony that they can go out onto whenever they feel the desire to just sit outside and enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood. (Yet another added feature thanks to her extreme nesting phase.) There is also a large walk in closet which is divided into two sections, his stuff and her stuff. The most notable thing in the room however, is that there is an extra door which lead up to the attic. This was not here before, in fact, all that there was, was a small hatch in the ceiling that led up there. But, given the fact that they live in such a small house, and that they are expecting a baby, she decided that the most logical decision would be to convert that attic into a nursery and being the overprotective mother that she is (already) she made sure that there as a direct method of access from their room and their room only. Her basic idea..."If somebody wants to get to the baby, they have to go through us first." Which, to most may seem a bit paranoid, but in reality, with their kind of lives, it is a very valid concern. Overall, the room is not too small, but it if far from being large and expansive. A fact that Kazumi likes due to the fact that she enjoys the closeness that it warrants between them.

Baby's Nursery (Attic)Description::This room used to be nothing more than your typical attic, filled with dust and boxes from when she first moved in. But, once Kazumi made up her mind to remodel the house she decided that this should be the baby's room. What really made up her mind was going to the doctor and finding out that she was going to be having a little girl. Now, with the ability to design around the baby's sex, she was thrilled with the possibilities of what she could do and by far went all out on this room. All the furnishings are white, and all the accents, including the walls are pink. There was also a small closet built into the room, because Kazumi does not plan on moving any time soon, and so designed the room so that it could be converted into a little girl's room as their daughter grows older. The furniture includes a crib, bookshelves, a changing table, dressers, and a rocking chair. There are also various stuffed animals and a few outfits that she bought for when the baby comes. There are still several other things that she needs to buy to get ready for the baby, but for now at least, the room is done. Along the far wall, there is also a mural drawn and painted onto the wall, one that was done by Kazumi herself and that she had discussed with Patrick a couple months ago. This is by far meant to be the biggest surprise to him because he has yet to find out what sex the baby is, so her plan is to show it to him as a way of revealing it. The only access to this room is a stairway that leads down to a door in Kazumi and Patrick's room. Sure, there are windows, but Kazumi had them sealed off so that they cannot open and the glass specially reinforced to prevent somebody from breaking them, or shooting them out. (Should somebody ever try to climb up to the windows in the first place.)

Guest Room (Basement)Description::There is not much to note on this room. It is not one that Kazumi put a lot of thought into but that is simply because she does not much enjoy being down here. It used to be a medical room, filled with everything that was needed to torture Feht in order to get her to leave, and honestly, it was not a room that Kazumi wanted to remain in her more up to date and cozy home. So, she turned it into a rather nice bedroom for any guest that should come to stay. She is hoping that eventually she can convince Aiden to move in and so for that reason she has chosen not to decorate other than install the bed and lighting. That way if he does move in he can decorate it to his liking.

Baby Book (Age: 1 day old)Name: Ruth Leigh O'Connor Parents: Patrick & Kazumi O'Connor Birthdate:May 16th XXXX (RP Time, not actual time) Length: 20 Inches Weight: 5 lbs 6 oz Hair: Red (Father's Side) Eyes: Blue-Green eyes with gold flecks in them (Age: 3 Months)Length: 26 Inches Weight: 8 lbs 3 oz Hair: Red Eyes: Bright blue (ever since Patrick was taken), gold when she is having one of her fits or using her Qi. (Which is almost always accidental...cause yeah, she is a baby) Qi Information Plant Generation/ManipulationDescription: Ruth, though an infant, has her own unique Qi ability due to the fact that Kazumi was injected with the serum while she was pregnant. Ruth's ability is still very new, as is she, and will continue to develop as she grows, though for now, it is simply something for the young infant to play around with. Most of the time it is accidental, given that Ruth is only a few months old, but it is slowly becoming something that she is learning she can do when she wants. As for what her ability is...Well she has the ability to pour her energy into whatever she is touching and cause plants/flowers to grow from its surface. It requires a lot more energy to do this on surfaces that are not made of natural material....such as metal or plastic...though it can be done. However on surfaces such as wood and dirt/soil, she has a much less restricted flow of energy and is able to grow much more elaborate creation. From there, so long as she keeps in contact with the surface, she is able to manipulate the plant/flower to do what she wishes. For example, if she were to touch a patch of soil and grow a vine, she could then manipulate the vine to wrap about about somebody...but only if she holds her hand to the surface and does not break contact. Once she has broken the contact, the plant/flower becomes its own being and can no longer be controlled. However she does have the ability to "breath" life into or take live away from plants that are already in existence. Limitations: (As of right now, I am not going to be adding in any limitations or anything, because yeah...she is a baby...I don't think anyone is going to be fighting a baby...Or so I would hope. This is ONLY for plot purposes, or unless you mess with her while she is in the zone, but then that's your own fault. haha) [/blockquote]
