With the days going by and August rolling in, the dog days of summer vacation continue, but with the new month, comes the realization that the start of a new school year draws ever closer. To take his friends and classmates minds off of school nearly upon them, the Student Body President, Kazuki Hikari, decided to organize a camping trip, to Finger Lakes National Park, for three days, two nights. Rewards: +5 EXP and $500 Requirements:- You must either type a post consisting of 700+ words in which you detail your character's arrival at the campgrounds in the afternoon by the school bus (This is not your typical yellow school bus either, this one is a nice bus that has comfy individual seats and a bathroom in the back), setting up your tent, cooking your meals, etc. This park is not the boondocks, it has restroom/shower facilities.
- You may post with a partner or in a group if you wish, but the total number of words for participants for the completed thread must be 700+ words each.
- On the final night, you must have your character tell a frightening story while sitting around the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and try to scare someone by it, whether it be a PC, NPC, or even yourself, and what the reaction is.
- You must also mention what supplies/food your character packed and brought with them for the trip.
Start/End Date: August 1/August 31 Any questions, just PM me.

Ah camping. This is what those humans did for fun right? Well some of them. The phony tough and the would be brave. As a way to "get closer" to nature. Where they gave up the luxuries of civilization to rough it in the wild. It was quite amusing actually. Thinking that leaving the modern amenities of society actually made you a tougher person. Even more ironic still was when you considered how they got here. In a fancy bus with comfy individual bucket seats, a bus that even had a bathroom. Becoming one with nature? right. Legion found it all incredibly amusing.
As he got off the bus, he took his bag and looked around. Apparently this was not the boondocks that some of the students had led them to believe. Sure it was away from TV and internet, no video games, but it was far from difficult living condition. They had showers here with their bathrooms, and separate individual campsites. Hardly roughing it. Though Legion had to admit that the humans in the city generally tended to be quite soft, even the ones that were considered tough guys. Whatever though, perhaps when it got dark he'd be able to have a little fun here, a dark chuckle released from his lips as he thought of the possibilities. But after a moment he had to shake his head, ridding his mind of such thoughts. No, he was a student. That wasn't kosher with pretending that he was a student. He couldn't just up and cause these kids suffering and murdering them, especially if there was a roll call. Letting out an annoyed sigh he started to walk to his campsite.
After a long walk he got to his site, which was rather distant and secluded from everyone else. Lucky for him he didn't have a tent mate, even though he was supposed to. That had been an arrangement made between him and his "partner" though. Seems that after a little persuasion the kid was more then happy to triple up with another tent group. That and he was more then happy to keep the reason why quiet, and just find friends that he wanted to tent with.
That being said once Legion arrived at his site he immediately began to pitch his tent. It didn't take him long, it was just something that he knew how to do. Another set of skills that he innately had. Skill that he was told he had because of his Demonic, personage or whatever. Something that came innate because he was a killer. Anything to further the mission right? Little did he know that the vessel he was in had learned these skills, that's why they were innate. Not because he was a "demon" or whatever.
As soon as he had finished setting up the tent he threw his bag in there. The bag being relatively small when compared to the other student's bags. Their bags being loaded with sleeping bags, food for the days, more clothes then they could ever possibly need. Legion's bag though? The bare minimum looked large in comparison. He had exactly the amount of clothes needed for the days and one meal of ramen noodles and the means to prepare it. He really didn't need food, but he figured that he should have at least one meal to appear, human. But that wouldn't come until the last night, at their only required function.
The days past on until that last night, of the campfire. Before which Legion was careful to light a fire of his own, to boil his water and toss those ramen noodles in there. After they had broken apart and began to soften up he'd throw the flavor packet in there, let them sit, pour them into a bowl and head towards the campfire for the students.
Late, he came to the fire to realize that apparently it was just a stupid cliche act. Sitting around the fire, telling scary stories and roasting marshmallows. Great. Finishing his "meal" Legion would grab a stick and begin to roast marshmallows, just because well, he had to. Eventually though it was his turn to tell some sort of a scary story. After a moment he thought of the only story that could really be considered truly terrifying by mortal standards he figured.
He began to tell the story of a man taken from their family, tortured relentlessly, until he forgot them. Being killed night after night, but continually being brought back. Then set out to kill his own family doing so, only to remember that they were his family after he had killed them, then being unable to take his own life.
Now Legion didn't really catch the significance of that story, it was just kind of something he made up on the spot. He didn't notice the similiarities in his own existence because he didn't have enough of his memories, though it did give him pause, which turned out for the better, a dramatic ending and all. The reactions to his story bordering on horrified and disgusted, as he was not light on the detail. Though after a moment of recollection he turned around to walk off, his need to be there satisfied...
