Dawn struck the room with an odd amber hue hinting in through the shifted shutters fixated downwards onto a frantic scene. Arms strewn adrift over her head, one bound within her wavy locks while the other tussled over her head grappling the corner of the bedspring. Locks fluttering upwards in a frenzied battle for dominance veiled her hues which lingered into the blanket as muffled words cried out.
"Mmmmffpphh Mpphh."
Kicking little legs sprung out against the blanket disheveling it further beyond normal variations ultimately leaving the small girl woven into the fabric itself, caught up and overheated the flailing would stop short. A gentle hand breaching the turbid battlefield would spring forth a face looking upwards still biting at the edge of the blanket as though the battle had gone into a resting phase but still lingering at the ready to start up once more.
"So Sissy time to get up and moving."
A bright and cheery smile from the plastic looking blonde looming over the bed's edge, eyes somewhat deviously searching out for a plaything to meddle with. Sapphira knew this person, and dreaded her company. "Don't call me that, this ruse is unnecessary here." That dastardly grin on her features growing ever the wider sprung from cheek to cheek looking like she had more things in mind than simply play her part. But Sapphira paid no mind simply rolling over in her bed and snuggling with the blankets managing to find her comfort zone once again back facing her 'sister'.
That's right, this was her home now. She let her fingers wind into the fabric feeling it out, her eyes trailing along the wall sizing up every little detail that it offered her. It wasn't much, but that was to be expected of a Jardin safehouse rather than a main residence. She could only hope that this confusion would last out her finding her brother.
A jolting pain errupted through her sides making Sapphira spring off to the side out of her bed, the tidy little cobweb of a blanket coming along with her essentially burrying her lithe figure beneath it. Furious now, confused and red in the face she'd peel up from beneath the pitched tent looking onward through angry hues to find the culprit. A laughing little blonde girl looking back oh so guiltily.
"What was that for?!"
Angrily alight with a sort of hastened fire, cheeks burning with a serious fury. The innocent little blonde shifting back with a cheery expression managing to skip her way down from the bed and settle along the floor a head lower than Phira and daring to glare her down threatenigly as though the little monster had the power.
"You can't simply sit in bed all day silly, it'll be suspicious, if you want to remain here, under the radar its best if you integrate yourself."
Pursing her lips the little blonde would glare back seriously before Sapphira's features changed to one of thoughtful dismay. She didn't want to get out, see the world, honestly she was as confused with all of this as anybody else was. She could stay content with locking herself away, hiding under the covers burrying herself in with warmth. "Perfect! Then we've come to an accord. Downstairs in five."
Despite motioning to protest the little figure would skip her way out of the room and into the front hall before Sapphira could move. "I....Grrrrr."
* * *
Later that day...
Dressed in a yellow summer dress with olive pleated flowers fluttered about the hemlines as well as a pair of jeans and flip flops to pull off the whole apparel Sapphira would walk down the mainstreet of the city lead along by her 'sister' like a dog. The pair looked like best friends aside from the subtle scowl on Sapphira's face, they looked nothing like sisters. While Phira was rather tall and lean, Evelynn however was a rather short and cutesy blonde. Phira had auburn-wavy locks, Evelynn had straight blonde hair. Their faces seemed completely different as well. While Sapphira was always filled with life be it happy, mad, sad. Evelynn managed to maintain the plasticity of a doll, her eyes dark brown to an almost black hue, her lips changing from a devious look to a cold gesture of sinicism.
"Nobody's going to believe this ruse."
Phira suggested looking to the girl with a discriminating glance as they walked into a clothing store managing to get past the initial wave of greeters without a passing glance or wave. Making their way to the changing rooms Eve would finally manage a response, "Well then we're half-sisters, its not as though things like this aren't out of the question now stop being a cynic and let me try out these sweet new shoes, by the way, you're buying."
An all too pleased glance as she disappeared behind the curtain and door with quite a handful more than simply shoes and a coat hanger of dresses and assorted designer clothes. With a grumpy and loud 'humph' Sapphira would plop into an adjacent seat head situationally placed between her palms.
"Where to go from here?"

Go clothes shopping....That was her Mother's brilliant idea to cure the perpetually bad mood that Aryanna had been in for the past, ooooh.....six months? Perhaps seven. Well, it was a bad mood as the woman saw it, but in Aryanna's mind, she was just right as rain. Or however the expression went. Nope, nothing wrong with this little French girl other than the annoying blond cheerleader up her ass every now and again. In fact, if she had to say so herself, she was in a rather good mood as of late. But then, it was hard to find yourself in a bad mood when you just didn't give a fuck about the rest of the world.
Oh sure, she still had that habit of wearing her sunglasses whenever possible to hide her eyes, but honestly, that had become something of a force of habit than anything else. She honestly could care less what people thought about her anymore, because nine times out of ten it was going to be bad. In fact, it had reached the point, where all the bad things they had to say, were just funny.
Funny...because...well, let's face it. They were so very untrue. After all, how in the world could she be a bad person? She was Aryanna Katashi, and therefore, that meant that she was damn near, without a doubt, perfect. Okay...so maybe she had a few quirks that were less than normal but in her mind, those were what made her so damn amazing. After all, who else could say they had such traits? Nobody.
Or so she thought.
But whatever. She had eventually given in, taken the credit card and headed to the store. Why? To escape the blasted woman's harping on and on about "you need to cheer up" or "you need to smile more".
Pft...
She smiled...plenty. Every single time she got her way, which, as of late, had been pretty much every damn time she set her mind to do something....or somebody. Really didn't matter, the point was, she got it, and she was rather proud of the fact...one of the very few emotions she could actually say she felt without any problem what so ever. If pride could even be termed an emotion...she wasn't sure.
Either way, here she was, in some small dressing room, behind a curtain, slipping into some sexy little number she had found hanging about on one of the racks, her hands fidgeting with the zipper in the back and barely managing to get it up...making her all the more thankful that she was flexible.
A little huff of air given as she blew a few locks of auburn hair from her face, trying now to unstick the rosary she always wore about her neck from her cleavage. And then spinning about to look at herself in the mirror at the same time. Though...as her eyes lifted to do just that, she would be greeted with a blank wall...which was odd, because she could have sworn the other two were blank as well...which she quickly confirmed by spinning around in search of the increasingly elusive mirror.
Great...this was one of those cheap ass places that made you actually leave the dressing room to see if you looked good or not. Just perfect. An irritated little grumble of something or other in French as she jutted her lower lip out and gave a rather heavy and dissatisfied little sigh. Her bare feet carrying her toward the curtain so she could pull it back and step out into the waiting area, oddly colored eyes looking around for the mirror and spotting it quickly enough.
With a few bouncy, rather cheerful seeming steps, she would land herself in front of it, looking at her reflection and momentarily becoming distracted by how amazing she looked. It was odd that she didn't have a boyfriend really....looking as good as she did. But then of course, she remembered, she didn't really want one and her mind quickly snapped back to what she was supposed to be doing.
Of course, she already had decided that she looked good in it, but if anything, she had come to realize she thought she looked good in everything she wore...because well...she did. So, she supposed that she should at least get somebody's opinion on the matter. Trouble was...as her eyes surveyed the area, there were no married men currently sitting around holding their wives purses to distract and bother about such crucial matters...In fact there was only another girl there, looking rather bored and unhappy with her current situation.
Lesbian?
Waiting on her lover?
Probably...Though Ary really didn't care. She supposed a lesbian's opinion was almost as good as a man. Right? So, with a little shrug she would wave her hand in the girls direction to try and snag her attention, clearing her throat in the process. "Excusez-moi..." Her little nose wrinkling a bit, something she tended to do when she was irritated, even if every other expression she had on seemed to say "happy" at the moment. "I need opinion on dress. Does it look good?" Yeah, of course she was going to cut right to the point, she wasn't exactly flirty with girls unless she had to be, and to be honest, she wasn't in the mood today. Besides, she was half expecting some sort of bitchy comeback, as was the case with most girls...seeing as how they were always so jealous and what not. Still though, she waited just the same, figuring it wasn't going to hurt to at least ask.

"Excusez-moi..."
Huh?
Curtailed hues traveled upwards although sporadic in random swivels looking for where the noise had come from making eye contact with a rather tan woman looking back at her. Phira managed simply to stare back somewhat awkwardly managing out not a single breath but only a dull looking expression brows piqued as though she were trying to remain oblivious to the situation however clearly drawn out into the open on account of the fact that she had indeed looked upwards.
"I need opinion on dress. Does it look good?"
Again Phira managed an ignorant glance cast forward, the sort to which might make her look dumb considering their eyes were locked and exchanging some sort of small talk. "Huh? Me?" Finally the breath exchanged clumsily moving a finger up towards the center of her chest indicating what a toddler might be able to pronounce in half the time.
Sapphira had been trying to remain under the radar and by chance wondered if socializing with others was against her own personal stigma, as if she were breaking a standard of moral codes. what would Evelynn think? But then again did Saph really care for that matter. Drawing forth a bashful even shamed bit of laughter remembering for that matter that she didn't care at all what the doll thought of her interactions Saph would draw forth a nod.
"Yea, it looks great, I mean a little bit gaudy if you're just roaming around in public but for a special sort of elitist party you might be able to steal a few hearts."
Sapphira mentioned elitist namely because she'd come from that sort of upper class based society and while she'd only managed a glimmer of their former glory she shunned the existence of it. Not intending such as an insult the girl would repose a glance moving to bite her bottom lip begging to the gods almighty that she may be spared the embarrassment of being called out on the matter.

She lost Ary at the word gaudy. Not that she thought it was true, but she honestly didn't need to go wasting money on something that could ever be termed as such. Besides, if this girl said it, even if she was a little slow, that meant that her Mother would say it, and oh my god, that would be a headache and a half.
"Aryanna, you know you should dress more appropriate for a girl your age.."
Blah, blah, blah, blah......
Just the thought of it was enough to make her nose wrinkle up slightly as she spun back around and looked herself over once more in the mirror, her head tilting to the side as she raised her hand and lightly tapped the end of her rosary against her chin. Her mind seemingly lost in thought for a moment before she would randomly speak up once more. "I am not girl to steal hearts....break them probably..not steal..." Musing to herself mostly, though she did snap her fingers rather suddenly and twirl back around on the girl who she had just been speaking to in a rather excited manner.
"You tell me what kind of dress you wear then! I try that!" What was this? Well, that was simple really....It was a quest to look about as average as she could. Why? Because she was really, really bored, and so she thought that perhaps if she tried on average clothes, she could test her theory about looking good in almost anything she wore. Great game, no? She thought so!
Though after she had gone through this little venture in her mind once more, it would dawn on her that she was probably being rather rude. Not that she really cared, but if she was going to get the girl to play along, then she was going to have to at least pretend to be.....nice. The thought making her stomach cringe, though she did manage to refrain from wrinkling her nose again. "I am sorry. You must think I very rude..." Giving a soft little chuckle before bouncing forward and extending her hand to the girl in a friendly enough gesture. "I am Aryanna." Smile plastered on her pretty little face, toes wiggling into the carpet of the waiting area and her hips swaying idly back and forth. Not a hint of the crazy little bitch within showing.....for now.

"I....ugh...."
There'd be a long drawn out pause as the girl stood there running her hands along the dress of sorts that she wore managing to ring her fingers along her curviture and pull it apart from her body. Thank God she was wearing jeans underneath otherwise this exchange would be a little too awkward for even her tastes.
Sapphira didn't exactly know the brand, she wasn't really a girly girl for that much sake. All she really knew is what she liked and when she saw something that looked good on a model or paired up with something she played around with it, matched and molded it to suit her needs. She liked the idea of being a matchmaker, even if it was just to deal with clothes.
The brief interruption of her train of thought sent her thinking. Do I reveal Wolfe? or what? Valencia that was the name, had to get used to it or otherwise she was screwd. Then again she didn't actually need to change her first name. The whole exchange turned out to be more of that muffled silence, Sapphira staring back rather optly her mouth making nibbling gestures at the base of her lips trying to enunciate a word from her bowels but finding no breath to speak them before finally blurting them out.
"Sapphira. Yes and you're not rude just dif-blu-odd."
Nope all the wrong choices of words, she proceeded to wince, closing her hues as though suffering some serious head trauma. "I'm sorry, I'm not exactly used to shopping out. I'm only here for my sister's sake."

Her eyes ran over the dress and then back to the girl. She knew she was a bit slow, that determination having already been made, so she tried her best to be patient with her as she fumbled about for the right words to say. All the while, in the back of her mind, she was picking apart the dress little by little to try and determine who the designer was....Because something told her that this girl had no clue.
"I ......" Her words cut short as the girl introduced herself and then went about trying to define Aryanna....failing miserably at it too I might add. "Odd?" She quirked a brow slightly. She had been called many things in her life...odd was not one of them. Usually, it was a much worse variation of that word...something a little more vulgar...perhaps a bit more direct.
"I suppose. It is what makes me special though. So no harm." Yup, that very thing which made her odd made her amazing, and so she just shrugged off the words and went back to what she had previously been thinking about. The dress. Because let's face it, that was the only thing that really mattered at this point...at least in her little world.
Yet no sooner had she opened her mouth to speak again than the girl would talk, and all she could think was that this girl never seemed to shut the fuck up. Though of course, outwardly, she was smiling as happily as ever, her hand idly fidgeting with the rosary about her neck and those purplish pink eyes scanning over the girl before her in a mildly interested sort of way. "Ah, so you are more jeans and t-shirt type girl?" To be honest, so was Aryanna as of late, but she had a credit card and a Mother at home who would sulk about for hours if she didn't come home with something pretty, so...here she was. "Well dress looks good on you...I am sure you would manage to snag a few boys with that." That...being the girls average shaped body...though Ary at least had the common sense not to point out how homely the girl looked.

Sapphira was no dumby, maybe a little bit socially awkward when it came to communicating her views to some people but she could pick up others in an instnat. This one, simply exuded a sort of confidence. No by this point it wasn't so much confidence so much as pristine arrogance, should she be surprised. Mentioning first the elitist class, the dress, the money behind it all probably would even put Sapphira's lined pockets to shame. Her lips would form into an odd thoughtful purse eyes laddened to the ground features turned inwards maybe looking like a frown to others.
Then of course to snap her from her thoughts came the mention of boys. Springing to life her features woul pique up once more dawning her golden hues to look over Aryanna searching for some sort of expression or meaning in her face. That's right, if there was bound to be anyone who knew where brother was it would be the girls. She was only after one of them for that matter, it was as easy as finding a needle in a hay stack, but she doubted any brother of hers would meekly shift his standards to her. Pretty as she may be there was a deceitful stench about her that wiffed to turn Saph away.
"I'm only really interested in one, do you know a Raphael by chance?"
Lips perked up curiously, but her eyes held a fiery weight, this could be her solution to all that may come. Brother was merely a response away.

Aryanna realized pretty fast that this was going to be a difficult little discussion, and the fact that the girl would narrow down the whole thing to a single question only seemed to prove that. If she could have, without seeming too childish, she would have pouted just then. But, instead, she would arch her brow and shake her head slightly. "Raphael?"
She pursed her lips and would raise her hand which still held onto her rosary, tapping her chin lightly as she ran over the various boys she had met since moving to the states, the name not really ringing a bell...Though to be honest, with Aryanna, that wasn't really too far fetched...She pretty much remembered two names...Cael and Alek...both of which topped her "OMG" list at the moment.
Her mind wandering a bit before she would drag her attention back to the here and now, shaking her head slightly as she dropped the rosary to dangle about her neck and smiled rather brightly. "No, can't say that I do. Why?" Her brow arching curiously as she folded her arms around her stomach, hugging herself rather casually.
Already she was starting to grow bored with this, and the dress was getting a bit itchy, but she would hang out just a bit longer, if only to get a better feel for Little Miss Stuffy Pants here. Since Ary was all about getting a feel for people and figuring out just how she could figure them into the game known as her life.

She had to think of something quickly now, it wasn't as though she could really say that they were related now that the Jardin's were exterminated or in the attempts to search them down, that knowledge was by consideration private. "He's my ex, we had an awkward falling out and I just want to toss some of his stuff."Sapphira would bite at the corner of her lip knowing all too well she looked disappointed, perhaps she could give away the feigning attempt that she was just some throttled lover who was still broken up over something that'd happened quite a while ago. Aryanna would arch her brow slightly at the manner in which the girls face rose and then fell when she mentioned not knowing the boy. Though what was curious was her explanation of it all. Now, Ary wasn't much the dating type, to say the least, but she also knew that the words "toss his stuff" and then that look of disappointment didn't go well together. If you disliked him enough to toss his things, well then you definitely didn't get all pouty when you couldn't find the guy. "Ah, I see. Hm, well perhaps he is floating around here somewhere. City is rather large no?" A small nod before she would reach down and snag the girl's wrist dragging her along to look a dress that she figured would look perfect on the brunette rather than herself.
That and well, she just wanted to see her in it. Though Ary was, as always, calm as could be and not allowing a hint of her actual intentions to show through. "Perhaps you find new boyfriend you not look so..." She paused in the middle of the isle, scruntching up her nose as she thought for a moment. "....lost. Or perhaps a girlfriend even, since men seem to be such a pain in the ass." Shrugging casually and then heading off toward the isle she was directed toward before, eyes scanning for that dress she had in mind, though terribly bad with actually remembering where the damn thing was.
"So, other than looking for lost boyfriend, what do you do for fun?" The corner of her bottom lip nibbled upon as her eyes would scan about the surrounding area looking for the rack she had in mind...and in the process scanning over her new "friends" figure whenever the opportunity presented itself.

Sapphira made the adament remark looking to be rather serious for that matter if only to drop the subject but with Aryanna's own words she'd appear to have the entirely viable escape. "I uh.. don't do much to be honest, I have a habit of not really sticking on one thing for more than a month. ADHD."She'd laugh at herself a bit briskly managing to sputter her hair over her face. A shy look upwards as Saph pressed the hair away looking up calmly and trying to come up with a more serious response to the question if only just to distance herself from the questions pertaining to Raphael. "I really love collecting things," A hand woud dart into her pocket picking up an old locket, the hinges seeming to be fairly old but the front cover held a rather sizable diamond in it. [/ul]

"Ex..."
Ary would roll her eyes at the little comment as she was busy trying to figure out where she wanted to head next, since she was about ready to give up on the damn dress. Her mind rather distracted as she did try, in some aspect, to pay attention to what was being said. "Yes, I have same problem. I bounce around from one thing to the other like crazy." She shrugged. She had ADHD but to an insane degree at times. She just never took anything for it, because well...she hated being slowed down, even a little bit.
Giving a rather exasperated sigh, giving up on goal one, she was off to goal two as the girl continued to talk. Something about collecting things, not really mentioning the fact that the comment about the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing had gone unanswered. Instead trying now to find something cute, dragging the other girl through the racks, stopping here and there to scan over certain dresses.
At least until the moment something shiny caught her eye and her attention snapped toward whatever Saph was holding in her hand. Her inner .....cat...if you will, wanted nothing more than to reach out for it...to paw at it, basically and definitely add it to her collection of shiny things she had at home. But, to even think of showing such a strange and odd trait about herself was almost unheard of....yet before she even realized it, her hand was coming forth to try and touch it.
Shit!
A mental curse before at the last second, she would do the only thing she could think of to draw attention away from that slip up. She would use her hand that had been inching forward, shift it upward into the other girls hair and jerk her forward, pressing her lips against her own in a somewhat heated, yet brief kiss. "Mmm...I collect things too." An innocent enough little smile before she would untangle her fingers and then spin back around. "Now where was that damn dress." Her mind back on shopping in a heartbeat and that touch of her own personality which had almost escaped being hidden behind whatever flurry of thoughts she had just created in the girl's head.
She didn't know why she was so scared to let anyone know anything personal about her...but she was...and she would distract from it at all costs. Even at the risk of being punched or slapped or strangled in the middle of a clothing store. Besides...she may or may not have just been testing the waters in the process...Though that part was still entirely up for debate.

Full eyes looked rather confused in the exchange of a kiss, wet and hot, but brief. She was confused. Never had Sapphirra actually been kissed by anyone, sure she'd heard of it and seen it in the movies but for all accounts this was a first. "ugh. what?"As Aryanna skipped away Sapphira managed only to stand dead still looking over the girl escaping away her hand still entwined in the little bit of jewlery she held outright but otherwise stood there completely caught off guard. Aryanna would feel that she was alone, just that odd sense you got when the person who was supposed to be behind you wasn't anymore. Her brow arching as she cast a small glance over her shoulder only to see the brunette there, dumbfounded and seemingly lost. Her lips pursing slightly as she would sigh just a bit and turn back around, heading toward the spot where she left the girl standing and this time grabbing her hand, fingers lacing with Saph's and tugging her along. "Come on."
She wasn't entirely sure what she was doing herself, but then Aryanna rarely was. She was more of a creature of impulse and she would probably always be one. Yet, as she was moving her free hand would reach out, snatching up a random dress that appeared to be the girl's size and then tote her off toward the changing room. "You should try this on..." Though there was something....almost suggestive in her tone.
Not leaving any room for protest, she would nudge the other girl inside, follow along with her and shut the door. "You really shouldn't look so scared." And with that, she would press the other girl up against the wall of the stall her thigh pressing hard between that of the other girl and her lips pressing against kiss against her own. This time, holding it longer, more heatedly...deeper...The hand which still held Saph's raising upward to pin her arm above her head while the other dropped the dress she held and slid upward along her side, slowly but firmly.

Saph would manage to mouth through lips meekly exchanging with her albeit not having the same experience or passion as Ary did keeping to herself mostly in the room, "I.." Hand would come up placing at the center of Aryanna's chest with a frigid sort of chill to the touch as Sapphira did get worked up and her breath exuded frost, "I don't even know you... why." Nervous panic as she breathed heavily, her features changing a bit, eyes becoming more expressive, her hues dialating and body becoming cold. [/ul]
