OOC Rules.....
1) Any issues should be brought to staff. Be it concerns with something happening on the board, a rule, or another player.
2) Cursing is fine but being blatantly rude and obnoxious is not.
3) Refer to Code of Conduct for further clarification on how to carry yourself out of character.
OOC Drama.......
As people, none of us are the same, nor do we share the same views or opinions on everything. This is understandable, and debates are a simple part of basic human communication. Therefore, you are allowed to discuss things in a civil manner through PM's or Spam if choose to do so. What will not be tolerated, is when said discussion get out of hand. By out of hand, we mean when you begin to make direct personal attacks toward another player, when you blatantly flame or troll another person, or when the discussion itself gets to the point that it begins to affect other players on the board.
If a discussion in Spam or any other OOC topic begins to get out of hand, a staff member will post a warning indicating that all talk on the subject needs to stop. Should the warning not be heeded then disciplinary action will be taken.
If you feel that you are being attacked personally, by any other member of the board, feel free to bring the matter to Staff's attention so that they can attempt to resolve the matter before it gets too out of hand.
The key point here is to remember that what happens IC is not some personal attack on you as the player, so it should not be taken as such. We understand that sometimes, despite best efforts, this does happen, and if you feel that it is, bring the matter to a staff member and again, they will try to resolve the situation. Do not try to go into Spam or PM's and handle it yourself. Matters like that tend to escalate rather quickly and can lead to severe consequences.

Warning System – Zero Tolerance.....
1) Once an issue has been spotted or brought to the attention of a staff member, a warning will be issued detailing what it is that you have done, and informing you of the consequences should you continue you actions.
2) If the matter continues a temporary 24 hour IP ban from the site will be issued to allow you time to cool down and allow whoever else was involved the same.
3) Once this is done, and the matter still continues, then Staff will hold a meeting to discuss what further action to take upon you. This could be anything from loss of items, a forced written apology to the other party, or being permanently banned from the board. ( All depending upon what it is that led to this point and how blatantly you disregarded all rules and warnings put forth up until this time. )
4) Once you have been permanently banned from the site, you are no longer welcome to RP here. After a period of time, if you feel that you are able to return to the board and maintain some sense of respect for the rules and your fellow Rpers then you may contact a staff member and staff will hold another meeting to discuss allowing you to return and what, if any, restrictions will be placed upon you. ( Think of it like being on probation. )
**NOTE** In the matter of a temporary or permanent ban, the decision to do so much be unanimous amongst all staff members. This is to prevent one staff member from being caught on a bad day and banning you simply because you caught them at the wrong time. Though should the situation be something that is regarded as “extreme” and demanding immediate attention, and only one staff member is available at the time, exceptions could be made.
In regards to being allowed back after a permanent ban has been issued, it MUST be a unanimous decision between staff. There is no exception to this rule.

Role-playing Rules......
1) No meta gaming1 or god modding2. Plain and simple. If another person gives you permission to meta their character for whatever reason, then please make a note of that in OOC brackets in your post.
2) No double posting ( or any other form of posting back to back to back ) in IC threads. Once you have posted, give others a chance to put in their replies. If you need to change something or add something to your post, use the magic little button labeled “Modify”.
3) No cheating on your stats. This is a very common occurrence it seems, and will not be tolerated. Please make sure to keep a record of where you earn your stats in either your bio or a thread tracker in the “Character Links” section of the board. If you are caught cheating on your stats, your bio/character link will be locked until you claims for exp gain can be fully evaluated by staff. Once a determination has been made, there will be a penalty issued, resulting in a loss of stats ( which you must mark down in your bio ). The number of exp you will be penalized for will vary upon the severity of the offense and what the staff feels is fair.
1Meta-Gaming is a broad term usually used to define any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.
2God-Modding is an activity that modifies the game experience to give one player an advantage over others. Depending on the game, different activities constitute cheating and it is either a matter of game policy or consensus opinion as to whether a particular activity is considered to be cheating.

Fighting Rules...
1) When using stats in a fight, you must refer to the accurate amount of stats which your character has.
2) Every now and then, there will be fights that require your character to go without items. ( IE. Pillar challenges ). In these cases, you are required to make a note of your stats, minus items, in your first post.
2) Fighting ability is determined through Xin physics, meaning that based upon your character's stats, their ability to do certain things (such as break locker doors off the hinges or throw people through walls, etc.) is allowed, and encouraged. Refer to Lifepoint1’s XIN SERIES for reference and ideas.
But please keep in mind your stats when RPing this out so not to exceed your character's ability. It is understood that mistakes happen, and that people often miscalculate what they are capable of. If you have a question concerning what your character can do, do not hesitate to contact staff, or post a question in the Help Section.
4) Fire arms and blades of any form are not allowed during player vs. player fights. If you are caught using them, you will be punished. Please note that this is ONLY concerning player vs. player fights. If your character is fighting and NPC, then by all means, have fun with it.
5) You WILL NOT kill another person's character, under any circumstances, without the other person's consent. If there is an agreement made to allow for such, then you MUST make a note in OOC brackets, in your post, stating the other person has given you permission. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Inactive Fight Threads....
1) If you are in a fight thread with another character, and the other person fails to respond for a period of time exceeding 10 days, PM a staff member for review using the form below.
Thread Title: Please include link to thread, if you don't it is likely that it will not be taken into consideration. Participants: Name of everyone involved in the thread. Date Started: Please state the date that the thread started. Name of Inactive Member: Provide the name of the character which has gone inactive. Date of Last Post: This should be the date of the final post in the thread, regardless of who's it is.
2) Once you have submitted your request for review, staff will read over the thread, and attempt to contact the other player though a PM. If the person fails to respond to staff with a valid reason for their inactivity within 24 hours, staff will mark the fight as over, and then exp can be claimed.
3) If a fight thread goes inactive, and you receive word from the other player that they will not be able to continue with the fight ( before/after the 10 day period ) then you must PM staff with the conversation stating such before you can claim your exp for said thread.
**NOTE** In the case of a fight thread being called to an end due to inactivity, be it through staff intervention or through notice from the other player, the fight will be called as a draw.
