It'd been a week since Cael took over the school and left it in havoc, his time since then being spent with Kevala but now there was only time to set plans into motion and proceed with his end goal. To be honest he wasn't all too excited about having to discuss this especially when he knew all too well that with Patrick he wasn't going to be able to play vague misconceptions at all and may even have to fight the bastard. However this was really one of the only means to getting the job done.
Sitting by the docks, just outside a large warehouse owned by Cael's father the boy would lean back letting one leg cross over the other and his arms extend over the backrest of the bench. There would be really no security there beyond the occasional guardsman that would pass Cael up simply due to his status as Gabriel's son but otherwise it'd be very minimal, a fence facing the end of the warehouse on all 3 sides. At the North face of the gate would be a guard station notified by Cael that he'd have a visitor. Though that may be misconceived by Pat, in which case the chain link fence wouldn't be too big a difficulty to leap over as the minimal security only did occasional checks.

In the last week Patrick had been going nuts. Well, Legion had too. He needed to rescue Azura. It was a demand that was welling up inside of him. Their bond telling him just how much pain she was in, just how much she needed him. Her need for him only driving up her need for her. Something that was starting to override his concerns over whether or not his love for her was real. At this point and time, it didn't matter, the love he had for her was real enough. That bond bidding him to action. Legion was screaming for the blood of Father, and while Patrick agreed, it was all he could do to keep Legion from storming the place where Azura was being kept right now.
While Patrick desperately wanted to storm the compound as well and kill this father character he knew doing it now was a bit, preemptive. That it would be too earlier. Cael had a plan, or so it seemed, one that was supposed to free all of them. While Cael and Legion weren't the greatest of buds, to put it nicely, Legion had to begrudgingly admit that Cael had a knack for planning. While Legion may not have liked it, Patrick convinceed him that the hughest chance for success lay with following Cael's plan, or at least hearing it out. If it sucked, well they could just do their own thing anyway, not too much of a big deal.
As Cael may have guessed, Patrick hopped the fence. Doing this because he had not real desire to have his name or movements charted. Sure Cael would know he was here, obviously, but if he wasn't caught, he wasn't, then no one else would be the wiser. Walking towards that bench that he found Cael sitting on he'd ask, "So what's this plan of yers?"
That question half a greeting, half a let's get down to business, because all things said, Patrick wanted to get Azura out just as much as Legion did. He just didn't want to fuck it up by being hasty...

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!"
Two suited men would stamper off their given pathes and draw handguns from their holsters pointing them at Patrick with deadly accuracy. Their fingers hoving over the triggers like trained professionals, that was before Cael curtailed around the corner tipping his brow to eye them over, those dead set glances to make a kill somewhere along the lines stammered, their finges loosening on the triggers.
"Down boys.. he's with me."
Cael smirked looking them over as the two men were slow to conceal their weapons but quick to salute him giving him their best bow available to them. Turning a blind eye Cael would lean against the warehouse's wall letting his attention focus on Patrick expecting really for him to get punched although betting there was equally the chance of him staying immune with what was at stake.
"The goal is to set us both free, the plan.. bait."
Cael smirked cleverly thinking the loopholes of his plan through but it'd seem as though he had a good tap on this Doctor character figuring him for the perverely involved in his work type. That meant solely that there were a number of objectives to complete.

Hands in his pockets as the men screamed at him, quite unworried about the guns they currently had to his person. Knowing that these men were likely well trained based on the look of this place but ultimately unworried seeing as he couldn't really die anyway. If the shot him he'd only get up a little while later. In fact after having so many guns pointed at him, Patrick found this rather boring to say the least. Waiting for Cael to tell them to chill out Patrick's expression would turn to an amused one as he watched the men bow to Cael, unable to ask the boy, well within ear shot of the men, "So what's it feel like to have unwitted patsies?"
Though as Cael would speak of the goal, Patrick would get serious. Choosing not to hit him because that was unimportant now, maybe later, but now that Cael had something that he wanted, he could listen to the kid's goals. The goal he so desperately wanted above all others. The plan, that was something that got a questioning look, one that wasn't altogether happy or trusting.
"Bait?" Patrick asked, willing to at least hear him out. While he wasn't a fan of where this was going he at least had the decency and presence of mind to hear the plan. He wasn't going to go sticking his neck out though, at least not with Cael "having his back". Patrick didn't trust him and felt he would be a fool to put Cael in a position where he could betray him. Sure Cael had given him a sign of "good faith" or whatever, but that only got you good faith if you didn't fuck up in the first place. So yeah, Patrick was far from sold on working with Cael, but he was willing to hear him out at least...

Yes well Cael didn't exactly presume in any sense that Patrick would play along with his plan in the slightest. Nobody enjoyed being bait that much more so when there was mistrust between people. The goal however was to perhaps entice him with a greater reward than the risk to maybe change his mind. Otherwise Cael would have to resort to less thought on plans something that would be more costly and less likely to work out in the end.
"Yes bait, you see you're actually a particular commodity to Father, or rather Azura is. That's where you come in."
A solid nod confirming his thought process and intent on sealing his eyes and bury himself in the realm of his deeper thoughts. "You'll have to give yourself up to him, and while there I can sneak in with a strike force and have him and his facility eliminated."
Cael would mention coolly leaving out the bit of information as to why he himself wasn't the bait or rather attacking force for that matter. Well it was rather simple honestly, the implant prevented him from attacking personally but once that was out of the way however it was a different story entirely.

"Yes, that's the point of bait," Patrick said somewhat impatiently to his comment about him or Azura being valuable to father. Not really keen on listening to Cael's dramatics here. All he wanted to do what hear Cael's plan, decide yes or no and then move on with life. He would get Azura back one way or the other, if not with Cael then on his own, or through some other means.
Though Patrick found himself even less thrilled then before about the plan when Cael spoke. Failing to see how that qualified as bait as opposed to being led to the slaughter. Further more he failed to see what exactly Cael's role in this was. Also, if he was sneaking in, then why did Patrick have to give himself up? Patrick had some what of an idea, though he failed to see why being a prisoner was better then sneaking in too.
"So why aren't ye bait? And what exactly do ye plan on doing in this? I mean, if yer sneaking in, then why do ye need me as bait instead of sneaking in to?" Patrick asked. Not willing to blindly offer himself up on the alter he would need some some more solid information on the plan. The whole mistrust thing rearing its ugly head here. Not quite willing trust him fully with his life...

A rather regretful sigh left Cael's lips as he considered the consequences of not sharing this sort of information with Patrick or anyone for that matter. It'd only prove to backfire and hinder his problems. "You see if I go to Father without completing my mission or with malefic intent, I will die. And I'm very intent on living."
He was sure that'd only receive a negative response the way he phrased it failing to let Patrick in on that little bit of information. A lone finger would trail upwards to his temple tapping it lightly to incline attention there, "A neural device has been implanted in my head to keep me from... disobeying." A smug tone as though part of him very much wanted to even if it cost him his life. However in this case he needed to work with puppets to play along with this game.
"You on the other hand are attached to his prized Azura and are immune to death for the time. I see this as an opportunity to keep his eyes elsewhere."
That smug grin disconcerting about any real consequences at this point, the only really true responses to this would be yes, no or lord help him... more questions.

Perhaps surprisingly enough, that was not the response Cael would receive, the expected one. He would only get a knowing nod towards his comment about wanting to live. Patrick was convinced enough that he wasn't lying in this. That wasn't to say that he trusted Cael, not in the least, just that he understood the desire to live, to be free and he understood what it was like to be a puppet dancing on the strings. So at the very least there was an empathy, even if that wouldn't stay Patrick's hand if he ever had to kill Cael and was privileged enough to be allowed to do so, what stayed his hand was the possibility that Cael could get him what he wanted. A mutual relationship, that was all.
"Yes well, neural implants are less garish," Patrick said, at least acknowledging the control. That didn't for one second mean that the irish demon thought they were on the same side though. The fact that they were both being played because he knew that Cael either was or would be playing Patrick the second he got the chance, the very thought of that angering him. But there weren't very many alternatives of him at this point either.
Patrick mulled over the plan thus far, thinking over the fact that it would keep the doctor's eyes elsewhere for the time being, so this time of Cael's could eliminate Father. But Patrick had to wonder, why did he have to give himself up? Mind working to find alternatives that very much fit with this plan because it was simple. Cael was asking Patrick to trust him, when he had already fucked him, not a very good in the way of getting someone to do this, particularly someone who was usually paranoid as fuck as it was. Asking, "How about I draw him out? Then his eyes are elsewhere, hell, he's not even at his creepy little base, I kill him, ye do whatever it is ye plan on doing and we both win? Get what we want, sensibilities intact."

Cael grinned a little bit at the alternative, more because it was laughable to expect someone who has been undercover for all these years to just simply get out and leave his fortress. More so there was the matter of a little personal grudge that Cael had on the doctor. Yes that's right, he was a bitter man and held a grudge that was going to get Father killed. He fucked with the wrong sort of person.
"You don't really suspect him to just give you his breast to stab at do you?" His tone a bit condescending however retracing his steps a bit and posing a rather thoughtful expression to perhaps lighten the sting there. "No, we cannot simply bet everything on the chance he will besides there are other things we have to accomplish in order to win."
To Win. Yes that had a very idealistic imagery to it didn't it? Back to the childish days when all they had to do was play to win not risk life and limb for the hopes of a better future. Yes, Cael was beginning to really understand what had made his father the way he was today. A part of him bled out for the sake of that future. He wanted to make sure that he would spill the same blood, and perhaps somehow save a portion of himself.
"You do want to see Azura do you not? If we kill Father without clearing the necessary precautions the institute will simply move. No we need to bring the battle ground to him."
A silent nod of confirmation although not truly concerned for the angel as she could look after herself, in fact going to her would probably cause more harm to her than staying away. Cael's own reasons for someone else.

Patrick knew it wasn't a great alternative. He knew that Cael's plan was likely the best, he just didn't trust the guy in the least, something that put tension in this little plan. This was a plan that required a great deal of something that Patrick didn't have for the guy who had just threatened his daughter, and wife. But that was another story entirely, or was it? This was step one in a chance for freedom, if nothing else. A shot to be free of this damnable collar. Though it was also for so much more right? A plan to free Azura, something that everything inside of him screamed so violently for. A chance for revenge, to make the blood flow from the people that imprisoned her. A chance to rescue her and his child that he felt growing inside of him.
While there were so many options after this to consider, to take there was only one real option for him here. And as much as he hated to take it, he had no real alternative. Going in there with guns blazing was a tad too romantic really. By Patrick's judgment it seemed bound for failure, not that he had any real examples to call upon in his mind. A slight growl rolled from his lips in concession as he asked, "And what are those things?"
Patrick knew that Cael really had no care for Azura, no concern for her, but that seemed irrelevant. In fact if anything, that calmed Legion a bit. That sense of possession and anger at some percieved notion of trying to take what of his lessening, not quite forgiving him, but still, that wasn't possible anyway and this was somewhat of a step forward. Something like that. Didn't mean he liked the guy anymore, perhaps he disliked him a little less.
Additionally, Patrick knew that, or at least was suspicious that if they merely killed this father, something new would rise up. These experimental facilities seeming much like a hydra to him. Wasn't the faculty he came from some sort of offshoot of Father's? Because Azura was made into what she was by father. Cael unfortunately was right, killing Father was not just enough. They had to bring everything down at the same time.
"Okay," Patrick said, "So I give myself up, your little strike team comes in and then what? When do I get set loose to kill that fucker?"
In other words, explain to me how I'm not getting fucked...

Cael knew all too well that the instant Patrick was set loose there'd be not a thing left to stop him aside maybe that slight leaverage that a family held over him, luckily though Cael had remained untouched by that sort of weakness, until now of course. His thoughts tacing back to that time with Kevala he'd been spending. It was only good then that no one knew about that. A silent nod to himself blissfully thoughtful about the future. If he were Patrick of course he'd want revenge for what happened a few days prior, Cael was putting his life on the line betting that this could perhaps change that or at least suade Pat's interests for vengeance elsewhere. Or hope that by the time this was over his own power drastically increased.
"For starters, remove this." His finger inclined upwards to his temple where the chip had been inserted. "I don't exactly like being enslaved either. Once that is removed I will move to shut down the power to the facility, this will be your signal that Azura is free or in the works of such. At that point if you would so kindly kill Father."
A twisted grin to Cael's visage. He had no love for the cretin that'd presumed himself a creator of Gods, it was Gods that did the creation and destruction for that matter and this was his lesson.
"Once that is complete we'll have to raid the facility for any further information, I heard plenty while in there that he's simply an underling..we can expect reinforcements once this is dealt with but for the time being I invite the challenge."
There was nothing more painful than having your body and mind enslaved. Other warriors were simply icing on the cake. A sadistic slave driver was something else entirely.

Did Patrick hate Cael? Well, the answer was yes, but not nearly as radically as Legion did. Though, if Cael could be trusted, which neither him nor Legion were certain of, then just about any transgression could be forgiven, at least once. Then again, all of this was a tall order. The death of Father, the freedom of Azura, and possibly their future freedom from the other fuckers? If Cael could deliver that to him, then Patrick could over look that slight mishap and Legion might even be able to over look it himself. Only time could tell really.
Oddly enough Patrick found a sick grin twisting on his face the same time Cael would. Though, this whole thing was too perfect. Actual pleasure in his voice at the thought, "I'd be thrilled to kill Father."
At Cael's next words though Patrick would simply reply, "I don't really care if there are reinforcements coming. It's all fine to me, what I do care about are those documents. They might have something in there to get this heap of junk off me and Azura."
A tap on that collar around his neck. Patrick knew the truth, this whole thing wasn't going to get him his freedom directly, he'd need to go further for that. This was a damn good start though. It would free Azura and take one of their enemies down. It would move him that much closer to his goal of freedom. What came after that? Well he did have a promise to keep to Nyx, and he did truly love her. Though when him, and more particularly Legion were confronted by Azura, that would be a different thing entirely. Patrick knew what he wanted now, but he knew that Legion wasn't the only one with feelings for Azura, though he had to wonder, just how much of that was the bond?

"I do truly hope you're ready for this... for all our sakes."
It was a mutual road, this distrust. Cael knew how feeble most people were and Patrick/Legion was no exception, futher he was weak himself all he could really gamble on was determination. All they had to work with was a destination, a place of interest that the facility was based out of, the element of surprise on their backs. That was all, Father had all the cards, all the advantages in strength and numbers, the difference was simply heart.
Cael was worried to be honest. If this didn't work out nothing would change, they'd die and the world would get a little darker.
"I'll contact you with the details in a weeks time, enjoy it while it lasts, you may not see it again."
The grimm warning before pacing off and out of this place.
