So I don't usually do these, but Pat/Legion's feeling kind of flat. Any suggestions, or comments would be much appreciated. I'm trying to get him out of a slump i kind of see him in

Well, I think that his biggest problem is that he is sorta reverting back to the way he was before any of the stuff that has happened to him...happened to him. I mean, not that that is a bad thing or anything, just yeah, one would assume with the link he shares with Azura and the lack of morals or whatever that he would have changed in some way, shape, or form. Perhaps become darker, or just more aggressive with the whole situation involving Azura. Idk, I mean he isn't my character so I have a hard time offering up the right view point on this. I mean, I can only tell you what I see and what I would do.
I have had characters (*cough*Kev*cough*) that do this to me sometimes...Something happens to them, and then suddenly they start trying to become who they were before and it just comes across as being flat and sorta redundant. Now, usually, if you want you can just focus more of their attention on the thing that happened and sorta force them into a change....ooooor you can just do something worse to them to teach them a lesson and make them change. (I have done both...hence why Kev's life is so fucked up)...I think that with characters, if you don't sort of force them into some kind of change when you first make them....and then later when they are older and have been a certain way for a long time...then they tend to get a little stale.
I think you need to just set your sights on what kind of change you are looking for in Pat/Legion/Whatever....and then go about plotting out ways to get him to that point. Usually the best method of "attack", you could say.

I generally go with trying to change things up a bit. I mean the reason for him becoming flat is usually on account that you have other motivations or just need something to entertain yourself even if for the time being. So I mean the best advice I can give is, play your side character for awhile til the inspiration hits, you can change up Patrick's persona a bit, or you can give yourself some massive plot to try alternating things etc
