Relationships [/size][/center] - Kevala Katashi-Badoer -- Mother, biological
- Mischa Badoer -- Mother, adoptive...Though to Kazumi, despite her distance from both her Mothers, she has never seen it this way...Mischa is just as much her real mother as Kevala, if not more so at times.
- Aiden Badoer -- Kazumi's twin brother who she has not seen since before her "death" at PHS #1033. He went to Italy, and though she has tried, she hasn't been able to get a hold of him. He has always been her rock, the one constant in her life and the one she leaned on most. He has been gone for almost a year, but now he has returned and though he is not the Aiden that she remembers he is still her brother and she loves him just as much as she always have.
- Cael Seran -- Though not related by blood, her Mother's closeness to his Father and the fact that the families have grown around one another for so long has him marked in her mind as family, which to Kazumi is and always be most important.
- Ira Seran -- Cael's twin sister, and viewed equally as Kazumi's cousin. For the most part she gets along with the girl though the language barrier is a bit of an issue, something Kaz is trying to work on.
- Patrick O'Connor -- Estranged Husband and Father to her daughter Ruth Leigh O'Connor. She met him back at PHS #1033 and though things started off, fairly decent, it was soon clear that he had ever intent of pushing her away, which, hurt Kazumi, a lot. But that didn't stop her from being there to try and help him when she could, even though he would again push her away. Now, after her death, she had found him here at her new school and things have taken and unexpected, yet rather pleasant turn of events. The two quickly became inseparable and eventually moved in together and not long after that Kazumi found out that she was pregnant. A month before their daughter was born, Patrick asked her to marry him, and without a moment of hesitation she said yes. They were married that night at the courthouse, deciding to hold off on the bigger ceremony until after the baby was born. However, recent events have led to their separation. It is still very unclear how that will end for the pair.
- Taylor Evans -- Friend, possible lover. Kazumi first met Taylor at school during the summer break when she was hanging up signs about upcoming school tryouts. Right off the bat Kazumi noticed that she sort of had a bit of a crush on Taylor, though it was completely innocent and she never ever intended to make anything of it, being totally in love with her boyfriend and soon to be husband. However, after Patrick's disappearance and in the state of mind of Nyx, her darker side which lacks in all morals really, she has found herself getting closer and closer to her "friend"....
- Ian Cross -- She has only met him one time, doesn't know his name and doesn't care. She fought him the first day he stepped onto school grounds and she would gladly to it again to shut his arrogant and cocky mouth up.
Not Being Played At The Moment- Ezekial Seran -- Kazumi's little brother, who she absolutely adores, and who things got a bit.....complicated with before he signed himself into rehab. (Where he is currently) Still, despite the fact that he beat her so savagely, she still loves him and misses him very, very much.

Blood Healing Qi Information
~Sangue della Luna~ [/color][/i][/b][/center][/size] Power:- Kazumi's Qi grants her the ability to heal and to heal others. Usually though the transference of blood from one to the other, be it through consumption or transfusion.
Quite simply, if a person is hurt and ingests or is given a transfusion containing Kazumi's blood, then he/she will be healed. The amount of blood required to fully heal, however, depends upon the severity of the wounds. (The smaller the wounds, the less blood it takes to heal them.)
Also, should Kazumi herself be hurt, she she can be healed by consuming the blood from another person. This is due to the fact that her Qi draws on the energy created from drinking another person's life force, which in theory, is held within their blood. (At least to some degree.) It is not just a physically activated process, but also one of the mind. Therefore, unlike when she heals others, her own healing is limited to consumption only. A transfusion will not work on her because it does not activate her "Blood Lust" which is key to her body's ability to heal itself.
It should also be noted that due to the healing properties of her blood, she is immune to diseases that could potentially be held within the blood of whomever she is drinking from. For example, if she were to drink from a person who possibly carried the HIV virus, or AIDS, she would not become infected herself because her own blood would simply heal kill the disease. (Or heal it, however you want to look at it.) Subsequently, she is also immune to any toxins or poisons that could be held within the person's blood.
This is not to say that she is immune to all poisons/toxins, it is just when said poison/toxin is consumed through blood that she is immune. This is because, again, the blood would simply destroy anything harmful to her in order to feed upon the good nutrients and energy. (So, if a person is high on cocaine or extremely drunk, she may feel the effects for a few minutes, but eventually her blood will overpower the drugs or alcohol that was in the blood she consumed and leave her pretty much unscathed.)
As for the affect of her blood on other people, ones who are not injured or hurt in any way......It is kind of like a drug, in that it will give them a sort of energized, buzzed sensation. (Think of it sort of like taking that first hit of cocaine or something similar.) However, only people who are not hurt, or who's injuries are very minor will experience this. Otherwise, the energy contained within her blood burns off as it heals before the person can really feel any sort of "high" from it.
Only adding to the pleasurable sensation of her blood, is the fact that her blood tastes different than that of other people. In fact, her blood has a sweet taste to it. This is due to alterations in the nutrients and the make up of her blood as well as her body's way of making her blood easier to consume so that it can be ingested for healing.
Physical Changes:- This Qi does create a slight alteration in Kazumi's physical appearance. Nothing that is too obvious. In fact, it quite easily can be over looked unless you know what you are looking for, or know her well enough to note the change in her. Basically, a sharpening of her four canine teeth..(Two upper, two lower). This is simply her body's way of ensuring that she is able to get the blood that she now MUST have in order to keep living.
Post Limitations:- Qi can only be active for five posts or until CON reaches 0 at which point user will lose consciousness.
- Kazumi can only be healed once per fight thread.
Stat Costs:- Cost to activate this Qi during a fight is -5 CHA.
- Cost to heal another person during a fight is -10 CON. Kazumi cannot gain this back, even if she consumes blood during the same fight. Her wounds will heal, but her energy will remain depleted.
Side Effects:- Kazumi must drink blood in order for it to have any affect on her. Unlike when she heals others, transfusions will do nothing for her. It must be through oral consumption, making it more difficult at times to sate her hunger.
- Kazumi has a constant need to drink blood. Even when she does not use her own to heal somebody, she will need to maintain a regular diet of it. This is due to the fact that her blood is constantly working to maintain her own health, fighting off any sickness, any possible contagion, whatever. So even though it may not seem like she has done anything to use up her own supply, in reality she is constantly "burning it off."
- Failure to consume blood for extended periods of time will result in fatigue, physical weakness, decreased agility/mobility and if left in this state, it would eventually lead to coma or even death.
- Her blood is pretty much constantly burning nutrients in order to create the energy and what not that is needed to heal. For this reason, she must be sure to eat properly and regularly. She must also be sure to avoid becoming dehydrated since this will also cause issues within her blood that could potentially be fatal to her.
- When she has not drank blood in awhile, she becomes more prone to bruising and if cut it is harder for her blood to clot. Another reason why it is important to maintain a steady diet of it.
- Kazumi's body will inform her when she needs to drink. Aside from the fatigue and other such symptoms that can set in, her teeth (canines specifically) will begin to ache extremely bad.
- Kazumi is prone to fits of "Blood Lust" in which she loses her sense of control and can or will attack in order to sate her thirst. It is simply her mind and body's way of ensuring that she does not die due to lack of blood.
- Due to the effects that her blood can have on a person who is not injured, there is a risk of that person becoming addicted to her blood, especially if said person has a taste for blood already. (Though this is something that she has no control over, what so ever. It fall solely upon the individual who is drinking her blood and whatever his/her player wants to happen.)
**NOTE** Please keep in mind when you read this, that this Qi is mostly for plot purposes, hence the in depth description of the side effects and what the power is capable of doing. I know it may seem like a lot, but really it is just me being overly descriptive.[/font] |
