Ira smiled and nodded as he corrected her. It was pissing her off 'cause she dealt with that kind of shit with Miranda, but she would pretend it didn't bother her. After all he was at least being patient about her poor communicational skills.
Before she can say anything in return her aunty showed up with a pen and a wad of cash. Shane was handed the pen and she the money. Ira would smile taking it and sticking it in her brah. 250? She was a Lady... she had a lot of money so this wouldn't amount to anything... though she wasn't going to sound like a stuck up bitch in front of Shane and her aunty. After all she had to stick on their good sides right.
He then would ask for her number. This would get a blush out of her before she stood and shook her head "No". "You will need to work harder for that." She would then spot her brother tugging the Aryanna girl and Ira would shake her head in annoyance. She hated how he was a slut. Yet again no sister liked seeing their brother acting like the boys they grow to hate...and being the boy that they were supposed to protect their sisters from. Big contradiction. "I shall see you around?" she would then turn and catch up behind her brother. They got in the limo and she would hop on in.
Yes, she was going to purposely cock block him.
She would look at the two with those judging eyes... mostly at Aryanna. "You too? Hm." It was a shot at the fact she would be yet another notch on his bed post.

"Well, believe it or not," Patrick would tilt his head with a bit of a chuckle. Yeah, he noticed her stuttering. It wasn't difficult. But he also noticed her blush, being able to tell that she was indeed embarrassed by it. Patrick wouldn't mention anything about it though, unless she chose to do so because well, it didn't faze him. He knew what it stemmed from, her time with Earth and so he didn't blame her for it, nor did he look down on her for it. All he could really think about right now was how beautiful she was and how lucky he was to get her.
"Yeah, she isn't a woman that I'd particularly like to cross," Patrick said with a chuckle as she made reference to her mother looking stern. Truth. Patrick and her had some what of an interesting relationship, a working one, probably the best word for it. But it wasn't a relationship where Patrick was going out of his way to spend any quality time with her. Much to the contrary he wouldn't be sad to have less contact with her. He knew her resources, she wasn't someone that Patrick wanted too much contact with, nor did he want as an enemy. Knowing from personal experience he figured that being friends wasn't likely to be much different.
When she apologized to him about not being able to speak right Patrick would simply smile at her, no look of anger or annoyance in his eyes, only acceptance. Putting his hand on her cheek he would say in a warm voice, "Ye know, one of my most embarrassing moments? One that I think trumps this. When I first started high school, on my first day I was asked to read a passage in an english class."
Patrick chuckled looking back on it, "Even the teacher laughed at me when I said I couldn't. Imagine that, having to tell the whole class that ye couldn't read and everyone laughing at ye. Teacher slapped me thinking it was a joke. The laughing got louder and the teacher joined in when they figured out I wasn't joking. Yer speaking doesn't bother me Kazumi, no need to apologize."
And that's when Kevala herself made her way over to them. Great timing huh? Patrick's hand dropped from Kazumi's cheek as she began to speak with her giving her some needle thing or something before turning to him giving him a long talk and some money. Only five words were needed from Patrick, which he gave curtly and politely, "Thank ye ma'am" and "Yes Ma'am"
As she walked away giving him that warning of a look Patrick would have to stifle a chuckle. Not that he was being disrespectful but the whole situation was funny. When she was out of ear shot Patrick would chuckle to Kazumi, "Funny thing is, I think she'd actually inspire more fear in someone then a father."

She would furrow her brow as he told her about his first time in high school. A flash of something very similar to the look her Mother often got crossing her eyes. Yes, she was a sweet girl and she didn't like to hurt people, but she had a temper that rivaled that of her Mother's when things crossed her, and in that moment she honestly would have liked nothing more than to beat the shit out of anyone who had done that to him. Not needed. She knew. But wanted just the same.
Still it was gone almost as soon as it came, a little smile forced onto her lips as she leaned into his touch and would sigh, shaking her head slightly. "We...Well they were stupid....Th...That is no...no reason to treat you like that....or anyone for that matter." Nodding a bit and shifting forward, about to press a kiss against his lips before she was interrupted by her Mother....
The pen handed to her, she would look at it and then at her mom, a little nervous, though eventually offering a little smile and nodding, moving to slip it into her purse for later. She trusted that her Mom wasn't going to give her something bad. As the woman turned her attention toward Patrick, Kaz would glance at him and then away toward the ground letting the two of them have their little conversation...hearing the irritation in her Mother's tone at the mention of the Student Body President....a small grin forming on her lips...though she didn't say anything.
Only when Kevala had left, catching sight of that threatening little glare, would she look back to him, a small chuckle offered at his words as she glanced back over her shoulder to where her Mother had headed off to. "Yes w...well...with most Fathers, th...there is not the very real p...possibility of having so...some part of your anatomy hacked off." She gave a somewhat nervous little shrug and smile....Oh if only she was lying. But she knew her Mother...and yeah, the woman had no qualms about chopping body parts off. Though, the good thing was....her reasons for doing so were not typical of what one would think. It was hard to understand her way of thinking sometimes, but....it wasn't impossible. At least not for Kaz.
Either way, she would turn her full focus back toward him, her hands coming to rest flat against his chest as she leaned up on her tip toes and pressed her lips against his, allowing the kiss to linger before she broke away and spoke in a soft little whisper against his lips. "I...I guess its a good th...thing I have a boyfriend w..who doesn't scare easily." Purring the words forth before she would reluctantly pull away and lower back down, fully upon her feet, those blue eyes casting a look up toward his own eyes. "This is...is the first t...time that I ....have been out....o..of the house wi...without hiding u...under a jacket..." Her fingers moving and nervously brushing across a couple of the scars on her arm....then hesitantly against the one on her neck...the one that was, by far, the most intimidating and that stood out the most...both in her mind and on her body......The nervousness and hint of fear showing in her tone....
She could see the way that he looked at her, and that made her feel so much better about herself...but still, that nervousness of being made fun of or something...well it was there and it wasn't going to go away any time soon.....

Her anger, her indignation for him, well Patrick smiled at that. It may not have been the response that she had wanted, but what the hell? It was cute. Not unwanted, just cute. Besides, that was that past and Patrick had put all that behind him. Life was too short to get pissed off at little shit like that. Patrick had a funny reply for her, but her attempts at a kiss were doing a good job at shutting his wise ass up. Unfortunately it would seem like making the comment would have been worth it because well Kevala showed up before they could really do anything.
Though when Kevala did leave and Kazumi made reply to his joke Patrick would grin. He was sure that Kevala would, though officially he had no real proof to support that little belief. All the same though, it didn't really phase him. After so many times of looking death or worse straight into the eye, it kind of lost the fear it held over you.
Though when she faced him fully, all thoughts on the subject seemed to fade, rather rapidly actually. As her hands were placed on his chest his hands grasped her arms, just below the shoulders. As their lips met Patrick would return the favor, not minding the fact that this one seemed to linger a bit, not in the least actually. As she whispered into his lips Patrick would only grin with a whisper for her in return, "Someone threatening to dismember me? I call that tuesday."
When she pulled away and spoke of this being the first time for her leaving the house without a jacket, Patrick knew that it had been difficult for her. Leaving the house and all. Hell even telling him that was likely difficult. He heard the fear and hesitation in her voice. But it didn't change how Patrick felt and so he gave her a soft, reassuring smile, "I like it Kazumi, yer beautiful."
Though she was self conscious about all that, Patrick really wished she'd leave without the jacket more often. Now, he wasn't going to say or anything, because above all else he wanted her to be comfortable but still, he liked this...

She would smile slightly at the feel of his hands against her flesh. She loved the way that felt, even when she was distracted by her worries over her appearance. If anything, his attention made it so that she didn't feel nearly as bad. In her mind, it was slowly starting to become apparent that it didn't matter what everyone else thought about her....Just the fact that he thought she was beautiful meant more than anything.
When he spoke, she would blush slightly at his compliment and lean in, her little arms wrapping about his waist as she came to rest her head against his chest softly. "Y...You make me feel th...that way..." Yes, he made her feel beautiful, even when she could think of nothing else but the fact that she was scarred up and damaged. The permanent reminders of Earth lingering on her body and inescapable.
Drawing in a deep breath, she took in his scent and let out a rather relieved, relaxing sigh. Finding herself content in the moment, even with everyone else around them. With him here, it wasn't so bad....not like she had thought it would be. "Th...Thank you...for e...everything...For the w...way you make me feel....F..For the way you s..see me." She wasn't entirely sure that made sense like it did in her head, but yeah...it was the best way she could phrase it.
Eventually she would pull back, her lilac scent wafting into the air between them as she glanced back up at him, that soft, affectionate little smile on her lips once more. "Y..You want to g..get out of here?" Her mother had seen her...and she had seen him...So in Kaz's mind, that meant that their obligations for the night were pretty much fulfilled. Now, honestly, all she wanted was to get out of here and go somewhere to spend the remainder of her evening with him. Not the least bit deterred by her Mother's threatening glare from earlier. No, there were a few other traits that Kaz inherited from her Mom....her determination and sheer stubbornness being one of them. "B..Besides....I can th..think of several other...th..things that I would rather be doing right n...now." A little tilt of her head offered as she grinned.
Hell, just being alone with him right now would make her happy....though she was not entirely opposed to curling up against him, or wrapping herself in his arms, or anything else that could come of all that. Not in the slightest....Raising herself upward just a bit so that her lips could brush against the side of his neck, teeth ever so lightly grazing his flesh before she would whisper softly. "I just want to ....to feel your a...arms around me and f...forget th..the rest of the world..." Not entirely sure if he would go for it, but hopeful just the same.

When she wrapped her arms around him Patrick would wrap his arms around behind her shoulders, one hand holding her head into his chest. Patrick really did enjoy this closeness with her. It made him feel like he was more then a faceless killer for and equally faceless company. It made him feel, dare he say? Human. Though that was still somewhat of a closely guarded secret. Yeah, he knew that Kazumi knew he had done and was doing some really bad things but he wasn't quite sure she understood. Didn't know how bad. While he trusted Kazumi, he was still scared to let her know the level of depravity he had allowed himself to stoop to, to partake in, of sound mind and uncoerced.
"Thank ye for wanted me after everything I've done," Patrick said, in reply to her thanks. Though he meant a little more then what he had just been thinking. He meant for wanting him after he had ignored her, pretended like she didn't exist, all after she took him out to a special place to her and slept with him. As he stood here he couldn't help but feel like he didn't deserve any of this. For not only what he had done to her, but to everybody. Yeah, they had had this discussion that night in the hotel but still, Patrick couldn't help but feel a little guilty that he could have this kind of happiness when he had taken that chance away from so many people. But yeah, coming from that angle he could imagine what she meant, only to a different degree.
When she pulled back Patrick got a hint of her scent, what was that? Lilacs? Looking at her with a little smile as she asked him if he wanted to get out of here.
"Absolutely," Patrick replied without hesitation, "Ye have any ideas?"
He caught her drift. Kevala had seen both of them. They had made their required appearance it would seem. And so her plan, whatever it was seemed like a way better alternative then staying here. Hell, all he could wonder was why were they still here? Patrick hated this kind of stuff, though having her here had made it that much more bearable. When she mentioned having a few other things she'd rather be doing Patrick could only let a mischievous and suggestive grin cross his face, "Oh? Do any of them end with me running for my life?"
As she moved in, her lips and cool teeth brushing against his neck his arms would wrap around her once more as she whispered quietly into his flesh. The only reply he could muster was a soft, "Oh, that wouldn't be bad either."

She gave a short little laugh at his comment, her finger coming up and lightly tapping the end of his nose as she would smile and pull away, her small hand sliding down along his arm until her fingers were able to lace with his own. "Hmm, I d...don't think y...you will be r...running for your life........Th...This time.." A teasing little grin, taking his hand, she would then tug him away from the spot in which they were standing and toward the exit. She wasn't entirely sure what she had in mind, but she was sure that she could come up with something.
However shy she might have been all her life, she was never one without ideas on what to do when it came right down to it. So, as they made their way to the parking lot she would stop and turn to face him, coming to a stop fully in front of him and casting a glance up toward his eyes once more. "Hmm, my...my car or y...yours?" An idea already formulating in her mind as to where she would want to go and what she wanted to do....She just needed to know how they were going to get there first. "C...Cause I...I am seriously...t...thinking of ju...just literally....esc..escaping for awhile. If that i...is alright with y..you of course..." That bright, warm and affectionate smile lighting up her face, those blue eyes shimmering with the lights that reflected from the dance area.
She was happy, genuinely happy, and it showed in the way she held herself and in the way that her eyes lit up when she looked at him. Not often did she actually get this sort of look about her, but when she did, it wasn't hard to see the girl that she used to be shining through, the girl that he had met that first day back at 1033.

Patrick's nose would give an involuntary scrunch at her poking her nose before her hand ran down his arm until her fingers laced in his hands pulling him along with that comment of hers, forcing a grin to curl his lips. As they made their way to the parking lot Patrick could only wonder as to what Kazumi had in mind. She had thrown so many options out there that to be honest Patrick wasn't really sure. So when she asked him whether they should take her car or his Patrick had to answer honestly to the question and comment, "It's all right with me Kazumi. Perhaps we should take yer car, ye seem to have a better idea of what ye want us to do. I'd only be following directions if I drove."
Patrick smiled as he looked at her. She looked like her old self again. Not that he despised how she generally was now, but it was nice to see her acting as she did before Earth. To see that though he had harmed her grievously that she was recovering. That he didn't take everything away from her. And that really did make Patrick happy...
